She hesitated for a second as she heard the door slam, and then make a move to head towards her own door. She didn't recognize the voice per say, but whatever happened, this girl was probably in a lot of pain right now, and didn't deserve to be alone. She didn't care if this woman cheated or not, if, as she assumed, the man threw something at her, the man was probably a piece of shit anyway. Adalene had never been cheated on herself, never really having been in a long enough relationship to have to worry about anything like that, so she didn't exactly have context for how bad something like that was, but she did know that something like that had to be difficult for everybody involved. She stepped out of her apartment, and ran to catch up with the woman storming out. "Hey, are you alright?" She called out, right behind her. She cleared her throat for a moment, and then continued. "I uh, heard your argument." She explained, "I just wanted to make sure you had somewhere to go..." She said carefully, glancing back at the apartment she came out of. She didn't exactly like the idea of opening up her apartment to a stranger, especially in this city, but she figured she could give her somewhere to stay while she works out her own plans. "I didn't mean to eavesdrop though!" She lied blatantly, "But I did hear something getting thrown, and that doesn't exactly sound like a safe place for you to be right now." She said carefully.
