-Illusion: Mysti can create illusions that only one opponent can see at a time, yet are totally convincing and indistinguishable from reality from a sensory level, not from a logical one. However, few have been able to figure out that this is her ability as if the mind truly believes it is experiencing pain, it will experience pain. Therefore it is a widely held belief among legends involving this nightmare that she can warp reality itself.

-Invisibility: However, unlike illusions, she can actually turn invisible, so that nobody can sense her with their sight. She doesn’t even leave tracks. However, she can still be located with other senses whilst using this power.

In a mortal, their behaviour may be described as unhinged or insane, but for their race and purpose, their behaviour is perfectly hinged and completely sane. Mysti is not a combatant, though they are not harmless. Their purpose is to inflict confusion upon people with riddles and mind games. These may range in innocence from testing their intelligence to challenging their relationships, allegiances, ideas,  morals or their entire sense of self.

[b] H I S T O R Y [/b][hr]
Nightmares eternal creatures, having existed longer than anybody can remember, including themselves. When a Nightmare is killed, they reincarnate. Due to the non-combative nature of Mysti, however, They have never reincarnated, and are a first-generation Nightmare.
The full history of Mysti is far too vast to be told, and if it were to be, Mysti themselves could not remember most of it, and what little they did tell may be false. Mischief and trickery were always in Mysti’s nature. In wars, they have orchestrated and manipulated the tides of battle. In times of peace, they pestered villagers and became legend and superstition. In times of quest, they guarded secrets with riddles, and in times of ambition, they guarded the keys to power from the deserving and undeserving alike in accordance with their whims. This current period of history is no different to them than any other. Mysti lives to confuse and upset both the individual, and society.
