Full Name: Caius Tacitus Velius Nicknames/Aliases: None Yet Age: 16 Gender: Male Primary: Defensive Secondaries of Interest: Healing, Magical Weapon Infusement Description: Caius likes to wear formal attire. He usually wears a white jacket and black pants and a pair of glasses. He keeps his chestnut hair fairly short. He stands at about 5'8" and his lean frame supports about 130 lbs of weight. Personality: Caius is curious but cautious. He seeks desperately to understand the core fundamentals of how magic works. While this pursuit is academic, there is a functional side to this as well. By understanding how magic works in the world, he can better understand how to stop those who would abuse their powers to harm others. Caius cares about people but isn't skilled in interpersonal interactions. Crush: None Yet Skills: -Caius is proficient in counterspells. His mentality is that a mage that can't use their magic effectively isn't any more dangerous than any other regular human. -Caius has been trained in fencing, finding most mages aren't well trained to handle quick and deft melee attacks. Weaknesses: He has very little in the way of offensive spells. He tends to freak out when he feels overwhelmed. Brief History: Caius was born to family well known for support mages. They have long since played damage control for out of control mages and seek to prevent their mischief. His parents had served as high ranking healers during the war and he had been raised to follow suit. Caius was raised in a loving but strict environment. He was taught that control must be maintained in all situations. Whoever has control, has power. Despite this, his parents did love him and they taught him that he had a responsibility to help protect others. However, Caius's intense training in his craft left him underdeveloped in other areas of his life such as social skills. It was this lack of worldly understanding, a growing concern for the disappearances, and intrigue about the new school's systems that led Caius' parents to decide to send him to Marchand.
