Appearance: Standing at 5' with a slim, petite frame, Sadako wouldn't seem all that imposing if she didn't constantly wear what appears to be the same stained white dress while letting her long black hair cover most of her face. Name: Sadako Yamamura Personality: Sadako is actually quite a friendly girl who likes doing things to help people whenever she can. Unfortunately she's also mute, creepy looking and has a tendency of sneaking up on people when they're distracted, giving most people she meets the totally wrong idea about her intentions. Equipment: A dirty white dress and hair long enough to make a swing out of. Abilities: A powerful psychic, Sadako can teleport herself around using any device with a display screen, although she prefers to use televisions and computers since climbing out of smartphones can be a little tricky at times. She can form an emotional connection with someone after spending enough time in their presence, and once she has she can always find them, no matter where they go. While in physical form Sadako makes no sound while moving, often seeming to appear behind someone without warning. Although at times this appears to be another form of teleportation, really it's just that people tend not to notice the quiet girl approaching until she's right behind them. When angered Sadako's malevolent side emerges, turning her skin pale white, her eyes solid black and causing water to drip from her body wherever she goes. While in this state Sadako can cause water to form inside a person's lungs simply by touching them, causing them to drown even when nowhere near a water supply. Universe of Origin: Hideki Toyama's Band book and film series. Background: Once a happy young high school girl, Sadako Yamamura suffered a mental breakdown in her late teenaged years which drove her to murder almost everyone in her school. When she was down to the final classmate, a young boy named Hideki Toyama, Sadako couldn't bring herself to kill him and instead tried to drown herself in the school swimming pool. It was only when Hideki managed to pull her out of the water at the last minute that Sadako realised she was in love with him and pledged to never leave her boyfriend ever, ever, ever. At least, that's what happened in the short story which was eventually made into the first of a long running series of films starring the character. Each new film follows a similar plot, with Hideki being insulted or harmed by someone driving Sadako into a homicidal rage culminating in several deaths before finally Hideki manages to bring her back from the edge once more. By the fifth film in the series people were beginning to tire of the formula, and so Sadako finally managed to accidentally kill Hideki during her bloodbath rampage, leading the character to kill herself in grief over her loss. For a while that was the end of the film franchise, but with fans unhappy with the finale, and clamouring for a better end to Sadako's story, her creator took the series in a new direction with Sadako returning from the afterlife as a spirit capable of jumping through display screens to strike at the people she blamed for the loss of her lover. While some of the die-hard fans felt the new direction was too extgreme for their beloved character, the box office takings on the new film made the production company very happy, and so the 'new' Sadako was born. Other:

Appearance: Over the last few years Hideki has been able to afford the best personal trainers and fitness instructors, turing his once feeble 5"2' body into... well not asd much of a wimpy wreck as it had once been. He still prefers to wear casual fitting clothing whenever possible, and has enough money to afford to choose. Name: Hideki Toyama Personality: Over time Hideki has gone from being a shy and nervous geek to a successful playboy before being reduced to a nervous wreck by visits from his creation Sadako. While still trying to carry on with his high class lifestyle, the stress of constantly dealing with Sadako's intrusions into his life is beginning to drive him to the breaking point, with several professional and romantic relationships having been ruined by her unwelcome appearance at inopportune times. Skills: Skilled novelist and screenwriter. Talented ping pong player and trombonist. Experienced negotiator and card shark. Background: While in high school, Hideki Toyama became obsessed with a girl in his class with a very similar appearance to the girl who would eventually become his creation. At the time he was far too shy to ever approach the girl and never even talked to her, instead he simply observed her from afar. In his obsession Hideki wrote a short story about the girl, but without any idea of who she really was, and his fertile imagination running wild, the story ended up as a slasher horror where the girl ended up murdering all her friends before drowning herself in grief over what she'd done, only to be saved by the last survivor of her school who she then fell in love with. In hindsight the story was an awful, cliched mess, but it became popularly enopugh online for Hideki to be appraoched several years later by an American production company who were interested in making the story into a feature film. Struggling with his college tuition fees at the time, Hideki leapt at the chance to make some money and solve all his problems in one go. Moving to America he spent several months working on a screenplay which was eventually used to make the new film, which became an overnight success. Impressed with his first outing the production company sunk funds into several more films based off of the character Sadako, making her into a cult favoruite with the small but loyal group of followers clamouring for each new movie, comic book and computer game she appeared in. The fame and fortune this brought Hideki was very well received, and he soon found himself living a jetsetting, playboy lifestyle he'd only ever dreamt of back in high school. Unfortunately just as he was preparing to marry a Playboy cover model Hideki began seeing Sadako following him at a distance. At first he dismissed the sightings as his imagination, but soon the girl was appearing more and more frequently, until finally Hideki woke late one night to find his creation standing over his bed. Sadako's appearance ruined Hideki's life from that moment on. His engagement fell apart, and his work and social life began unravelling as Sadako started to pop in at the most unfortunate times, usually staying just out of sight of anyone other than Hideki. With his world tunbling down around him Hideki has set out to try and uncover exactly what's going on with the drowned girl, and hopefully get rid of her before his life is totally destroyed. Other: Although he has made some money from his film productions, Hideki isn't as wealthy as he'd like people to think. His lifestyle is entirely based off of the constant income he gets from new films, and Sadako's appearance is threatening to bring that all crashing down.
