Each province, drawn to include a roughly equal population (around 8-16 million people) has been assigned to a White-Shirt Governor, who in return is overseen by the the Commander-Governor in charge of the Great Province itself. To break up old cultural and ethnical borders, old names have been removed, and each province just has a number and a letter assigned to it.
|Geographical Location of Country:| Where your country is located in Idiea. Simple as. |Country Size:| 5.888.000 square kilometers |Cities:| -Captial Zang-Quin: [District: 1A] The Ancient capital of the Heavenly Empire, Zang-Quin is a city of ancient glory, turned into the slowl beating heart of the reformed Nation. Ancient Palaces stand next to great buildings of concert, temples of old next to modern complexes of Bureaucracy and ancient Statures of dragons rest next to busts of martyrs of the White-shirt uprising. One of the most populated cities in the world, sprawling slums of old, have been turned into clean rows of concrete mass-housing, while an belt of new industry surrounds the city. Great Plazas for military parades and celebrations have been build above ancient roads and houses, all leading towards the heat of the city, the Heavenly Palace-complex, now the seat of the glorious white-shirt party, and residence of the Great-Uniter. -Yuetong: [District: 8A] The major harbor city of Zengrav, Yuetong has always been an traget of pirate activity and as such been outfitted with massive walls, made from deep red stone, which till this day, are seen as one of the greatest ancient wonders of Idiea. Subject of massive industrialization by the white shirt party, its harbor facilities have been expanded and modernized, while acting as an access to import and export. A great stature of the great Uniter, holding a sword and a flag has been build at the coast, near the sight of the great massacre of Yuetong, where the remaining warlords, their soldiers and families were butchered by the victorious white-shirts. -Saraat: [District: 7D] An ancient city, build in the rough dry-land near the border, Saraat is home to the Gailzri people. Due to its importance during the white-shirt uprising and the great internal war, it has seen great attention by the Party with its ancient fortress being completly destroyed and replaced with a modern concret building, acting as the seat for the Commander-Governor. The great uniter, till this day, has not visited this city. |Natural Resources:| Agricultural/Traditional Resources and Goods: Zengrav holds some of the most fertile soil of Idiea, the riverland around the Zang sea, which is perfectly suited for the growing of crops like rice, wheat, millet, soybeans and countless other crops, vegetables and fruits. Even with the lack of mechinisation, this region is not only able to produce enough food to feed the gigantic population of Zengrav, yet also to export huge amounts of each harvest. Yet, the true wealth of Zengrav hails from its artisans, able to craft expensive silk, porcelain, Lacquerware among other luxury goods, while its huge plantations contribute spices, tea, sugar and cotton for the world market. While in the past, the vast ammount of wealth from these products was taken by forging trading companies, the takeover of the glorious white-shirt party has lead to a protective stance on international trading, cutting into the profits of these goods, yet also causing an impasse in the world market. Mining and Industry: Zengrav natural resources mostly slumber in its less populated northern parts, where rich veins of Iron, Copper and even Gold rest in its mighty mountains. Coal has been discovered in the western parts of the country, yet still no endeavors have been made to mine it, due to the lack of industrial capacity. Highly dependent on imports from both Bravsaara and Lavania, Zengrav focuses on archiving both industrialization and self-reliance.

People & Culture:
|Population:| Correct estimations are hard to come by, as the census of the glorious white-shirt party has suffered from gross incompetence, claiming around a billion people. More realistic, international estimates proclaim a population of around 600 million making it the most populous country on the continent. |Demographics:| Zengrav is a nation of twelve people, most of which have a unique language, culture and identity. Ethnic based casts, distance, and even laws in the late Heavenly Empire have lead to rather unique appearances.
The Quin [70%]: Making up the vast majority of the people of Zengrav, the Quin are the inhabitants of the fertile land near the great Zang sea. Forming the first Kingdoms of Zengrav, the Quin have willingly accepted Minga overlord ship, and prospered under it. Working mostly as farmers and plantation workers, it was for a long time a capital crime, for a Quin to carry a sword, a law enforced with brutal efficiency by the Minga Overlords. Smaller then the Minga, the Quin are sturdy, with lighter skin then most of the other people, and dark hair. Profiting most from the white-shirt takeover, with almost all of the restrictions lifted from the time of the "Heavenly Empire", the Quin make up the waste majority of the white-shirts, and are seen as "almost-equals" with the Minga-people, in terms of racial theory. The Minga [6%]: A normadic people from the north, the Minga conquered Zengrav 2.000 years ago, and caused the people that would become the Geisel, to leave the country, while subjugating the rest of the realm, forming the heavenly empire, and building up a ruling cast of warrior-nobility. Proud and warlike, the Minga still hold many positions of power, while their language have become the sole accepted tongue under white-shirt rule. Lean and broad people, with grayish hair and dark eyes, the minga bind their hair into knots and braids. Touching another persons hair, is a great show of trust and can be taken as an horrible insult if done without permission. In the racial hierarchy enforced by the glorious white-shirt party, the Minga are seen as the perfect people, who are destined to one day rule the world. Claiming, that all people of Zengrav have some Minga blood in them, they are seen as just one step below them in this very order. The Uzra [4%]: Nomads of the northern steps, the Uzra were ancient enemies of the Minga, and subjugated in their conquest of Zengrav. Forbidden from entering the riverlands, yet also from riding horses taller then a mans shoulders, these people had to settle down in the rough northern country, building up a reputation as dishonest and vile, due to their old rivalry with the Minga people. Still discriminated, many Uzra have left their homes in search of a better live, since the heavenly empires time. As such, many cities in Idiea have an Uzra-District, as well as seat of their dispised criminal network called "Zagra", named after the Minga tradition to brand criminals onto their forheads. The Gailzri [3%]: Living near the eastern border, shared with Lavania, the Gailzri people, are ancient ancestors of the Geisel people, having fled from Minga aggression towards the south of the continent. Famous for their ability to work stone, and building grand cities, the Gailzri that remained in Zengrav were valued for their abilities, forming the Classica-Zengravi style, that to this day is rather common in Zengravian cities. Their language and general culture still shares distant similarities with the modern Geisel people. The Zeh [3%]: The traditional boat nomads of mighty rivers of the Zang Sea, the Zeh are people of the water, living in thight-knit communities of massive river barges, worshipping water spirits, and holding a pacifistic tradition of non-leathal duel-combat between champions, to settle disputes. During the great Interal War, their people isolated themselves to the best of their abilities, just wanting to stay outside the conflict. After the white-shirt takeover, the Zengravi state, as burned down most of the ancient fleets of the Zeh people, forcing them to settle down in the harsh norther territory. Many have feld the country, using their river barges to cross the Zang Sea, trying to find refugee in the democratic nations beyond it. A dangerous journey, as said barges were made for rivers, not the open sea! The Bashur [2%]: Living in the far nother of Zengrav, as traditional ice fishing people, the Bashur are most notable for their worship of the Ljós faith. Hailing from the native Binga people of the area, they intermixed with Eilift settlers and missonaries, staying Isolated for hundred of years, paying lip-service to the heavenly empire. During the great Internal war, they declared the "Ljós Republic of the Bashur people", a state which existed for 19 years, before being annexed by the Reformed nation of Zengrav. With their faith outlawed by Zengravi law, they are among the most suppressed people in Zengrav, with an many vanishing into the woods, joining rebel groups of fanatical religious insurrectionists. The Binga [2%]: Called after the mocking Minga term for "Walking" (literal: He who falls from horse/He who can not ride), the Binga are traditional bison and yak herding people of the norther steps of Zengravi. Similar to the Uzra, they were forbidden by law to ride horses by the Minga invaders. Traditional enemies of the Bashur people, and their faith, they were heavily suppressed during time of the Ljós Republic, which annexed most of their settling grounds, while brutally repressing their ancestor worshiping faith. In an twist of irony, their loyalty in the annexation of the Republic has lead to them becoming the favored people of the state, with many Binga joining the glorious white-shirt party, while using their favor, for revenge against their old opressors. (insert minor people here): The Yaar [>0%]:
|Government:| The Reformed Nation of Zengrav is an absolute fascist dictatorship, under the rule of the Great-Uniter Yesui Zengrav-Jeer (translation: Mother of Zengrav) and her party, the Glorious White-Shirt Party. Placing her own favorites in power, the administraion is handled by secretaries and ministries, all lead by White-Shirt officials, who in term have free reign over installing subordinates they seem able.
The glorious White-Shirt Party is the ruling body of the Reformed Nation of Zengrav, united under the absolute leadership of Yesui Zengrav-Jeer, and has control over every aspect of Zengravi life, industry and politic. With around twenty million members, an own para-military arm (The glorious White-Shirt Combat-Battalions), secret police (The glorious White-Shirt Internal Commissariat) and a mandatory youth division (Youth White-Shirts) every Zengravi citizing can feel their presence at almost every point of the day. Directly below the great uniter, is the grand council, who´s members, the grand-secretaries, are appointed by the great Uniter. Each grand-secretary is in charge of one of the many ministries, including, yet not limited to army, navy, airforce, industry, agriculture, surveillance etc. While, in theory, any Zengravi could hold such a position, until this day, only White-shirt Party members have been granted this rank. With the nation itself being divided into grand-districts, each lead by a local Grand-Commander, appointed by the great Uniter herself, who in turn is in charge of appointing Sub-Commanders for the minor districts of his grand-district. With total authority in their own district, their sole loyalty belongs to the grand council of the party and above all, the Great Uniter herself. Joining the White-Shirt party, means that one has to be ready to be potentially placed all over Zengrav, in a ministry, district or even Battalion, his superiors seem fit. Nepotism is ripe inside the party, yet multiple purges and brutal punishment, have kept corruption at an "acceptable" level. Leading her people out of the chaos of the great internal war, and pushing for reforms, her power is based on the White-Shirt party, the secret Police and the Military. |Volksgeist:| Pan-Zengravisim The people of Zengrav have endured years of humiliation by the hands of outside powers and are just two centuries past their great Internal war, in which millions perished. Scared and battered, their culture has been taken up by the White-Shirt party, and has been hammered into something new. Proclaiming Zengravi Superiority above all other nations, the party Ideoligy thrives to great a greater Pan-Zengravi culture, using elements of all of the twelve peoples old ways (strangly through, mostly Minga-culture), while discarding, or outright destroying other parts of their culture. Painting a picture of a superior and grandiose past, destroyed by traitors and outside spies, ultra-nationalism and jingoism is promoted and indoctrinated. With the founding of the Young White-Shirts, the youth organisation of the White-Shirt party, the children of familes are taken in by the party, to be educated with new history books, introduced to harsh regimes of fitness and absolute loyalty towards the party. Mingaism A newer, radial school of through inside the party, proclaimed by Minga-Supremacists, claims a genetical superiority of the Minga people, and a destiny to rule the world, while accepting some degree of "Minga" blood in most of the people of Zengrav. |Religion:| The sole allowed religion in Zengrav is the reformed worship of the ancestral gods, in state approved temples, under the guidance of state controlled priests.

|History:|
The area around the great Zeng-sea has always been a hotbed for civilization, as its fertile soil, and lush rivers have provided food and transport for the first Zengrav people, settling down on its shores. One of the first empires to ever be recorded in the history of Idiea, its wealth, glory and grandness became the stuff of legends, and even the short dark age, during its conquest by the nomadic Minga lead to a second rise of the Empire, demanding tribute from neighboring realms, becoming a partron of arts and science, while building monuments that last till the modern day. Yet, the wealth would turn its downfall, as the Heavenly empire, became more and more inept, corrupt and burocratic, its former conqueres lazy tyrants, and its realm overloaded with insolent nobles. Isolationism began to spread, and soon, all major technological advances of the outside world, were fully ignored.
""It is very fortunate, that the giant that is Zengrav lacks a head! For if he had one, he would trample down the world around him!"
Lord General Louis William of Greenbourgh-Flannese, commander of the Sairish Expedition army, after witnessing the mass surrender of 100.000 Zengravi soldiers on order of the Emperor This peace was broken, when envoys from the rising power of the Sairish Empire arrived, 220 years before the modern day. Demanding the opening of Zengrav to the world market, the emperor demanded their heads in an fit of anger, before rallying his armies to punish the vile barbarians. Yet, Zengrav had not been aware, that swords and shields had been replaced with gunpowder and cannons. The Defeat of the army of Zengrav was devastating, and would usher in the "Dark age of humiliation" of Zengrav. Years of shame followed, in which the Zengrav people, lost their believe in being the greatest nation on Idiea, and becoming aware of their own weakness. A failed uprising to restore the time of old, crushed by the dominate powers, lead to an incredible humiliation of the heavenly emperor, destroying the sacrety of his position in the eye of all of Zengrav, and leading to his assassination by the hand of his bodyguards. Zengrav broke apart before his body became cold. Warlords carved out their own realms, other nation oppertunisticly annexed borderlands and minor states declared independence. The "Dark age of humiliation" became a found memory of the people, oppressed by Warlords, leading their own feuds against each other, while some even claimed the Heavenly throne for themselves. It was Zengravs darkest ages. An riot in the streets of the capital of Zang-Quin, lead by an impoverished daughter of a minor noble family, the same woman that one day would be known as the great uniter, lead to the creation of the white-shirt army, a mass movement against foreigners and the despised warlords. Suffering an almost defeat by the hand of the latter, a retreat to the border with Lavania, and support from the nation lead to an final victory, and the declaration of the Reformed Nation of Zengrav. The white-shirt army was split, into the modern Zengrav army, and the glorious white-shirt party. The nation was turned into a fascist dictatorship, and the Ideology of the "twelve people-one sun" was declared state doctrine. Cultural boundries as vanishing, as ethnic groups are forced to assimilate to a pan-zengrav culture. Capagings of mass industrialization, education and infrastructure are planned, yet

|Armed Forces:|

""JUUR-AHH!"
Ancient Minga battlecry (translation: To death/till death)

(All numbers DONT include support personal (medics, cooks, mechanics etc.)

Divisions active: 150 (2.700.000 Men) Divisions in training: 50 (900.000 Men)
The common Infantry-Division [18.000 men] of the Reformed Zengrav National Army, the Banner-Devision is a throwback, at the ancient times of the Heavenly Empire, when the Emperor would award warlords with Colorful banners, to form their own armies around. A nepotistic and corrupt system, which ultimatly lead to the downfall of the heavenly Empire, and the Great Interal war, the spirit of heroic Banners is still so common among the Zengrav people, that its name still inspires the ones marching in one. With the industry of Zengrav still in its infancy, the equipment of these Divisions varies greatly, from chosen favorites of the party, equiped with the new "Unity" Mk.1 or the Geisel G-35, while the vaste majority has to make do with the abundant IR-19 surplus rifles or in the worst cases, use the outdated G-27, most of time, a weapon older then the man firing it. Sharing the role of cavalry soldiers with the Uzra people, bitter rivalries are common, and with the abundance of Minga-Officers, Uzra riders are often delegated to the more "dishonarble" role of Dragoons and mobile Infantry, while the Minga-riders fill in a role as shock-troops and ambushers. There is nothing greater then Zengrav, nothing brighter then Zengrav and nothing more worth to die for then glorious Zengrav!"
Yesui Zengrav-Jeer, Great Uniter of Zengrav, Speech to the first cadets of the Karlim-Military Academy Yesui Olya was born a daughter of a minor noble Minga family, in the service of a warlord, history would rightfully forget. Learning to ride before she could walk, she was raised in the warrior-tradition of her people, to become a worthy member of her family, leading men into battle, bear warriors into this world, and die either on a throne or in battle! Yet, while becoming a woman, Yesui slowly began to question the reasons behind the war, the violence and the sense of chaos her nation was in. Barley an adult, she began to read about theories of governance, and finally, decided to leave her homeland for a long journey abroad. Visiting the Nations of old the world, she ended up in Hovelsquat, a city that left her in awe, and would change her life forever. Taking residence, she began to study on one of the many universities, learning about new ways of government, industry and living. Around this time, she became acquainted with a local student, a promising young mind named Leon Holst, whom soon she would learn to value not only as a partner for heated debates and interlectual exchange, yet also as a lover. It was he, who got her to study the teachings of equality and socialism, leading her to become glowing defender of its ideas, soon believing that only a Revolution from the people could save her country from its total destruction. Winning the support of the Union For Decentralization, she rallied supporters and volunteers to her cause, forming the "Voleenter-greenshirt brigade for liberation", before leading them back into their homeland, leaving Hovelsquat and her lover behind, eager to spread the fire of the revolution once and for all. Losing half of them, to an outbreak of Red Fever, which almost killed herself, she had to fill up the ranks with local mercenaries, before starting her first campaign against a local Warlord. During this time, she took shelter in the tomb of an old emperor of Zengrav, and would begin to study the old teachings of her people, about the glory and might, the old Heavenly Empire once held. Recruting from the local population to fill in her losses, she became disgusted by the weakness of the soft students, compared to the hardship her own people were willing to endure. Returning to the old, ancestral faith of ancestor worship, the thought of Revolution more and more vanished from her head, until one fateful day. Leading a raid into a local armory, Yesui and her brigade was ambushed by the Warlords men, and surrounded at a local farmstead. A brutal onslaught followed, as the brigade fought its last, glorious battle, outnumbered and outgunned. And when the sun would finally rise, only a single woman walked away from the battle, having lost her whole brigade in a single battle. Once more wandering, this time like a beggar on foot, she witnessed the war not as a warrior, but as a civilian, as she crossed the land towards the ancient capital of the once mighty Heavenly empire, crossing ancient monuments and landmarks, while sleeping in the cold and drinking water from puddles. She was alone, weak and broken, just as her nation was. Without any hope, she entered the capital, ready to life out her live as a beggar, as she witnessed something that changed her mind. She saw a Sairish Tourist breaking off an head from an ancient stature as a Souvenir. Filled with wrath, she realized that there was one thing, one resource her people still had! Fury! Beating the man to death with her bare hands, she gathered a crowed, roaing like a wounded lion, as she pulled off the mans white shirt, coated in blood and waved it like a banner. "LET US TAKE THEIR WHITE SHIRTS! LET US TAKE THE WHITE SHIRTS OF THEY WHO HAVE BROUGHT OUR NATION INTO RUIN! LET US TAKE THEIR SHIRTS AND THEIR LIVES!" Was her warcry, as she unleashed, what would later be known as the "Beginning White-shirt uprising" leading to the full destruction of the Foreigners Quarter of Zang-Quin, the looting of the armory and the massacre of hundreds of foreigners and locals wearing the hated white shirts of the outlanders. Carried on the shoulders of the Rioters, Yesui ordered her people to put on the looted white shirts, in a mockery of the foreigners, before leaving the capital. What began as a mere riot, turned into a full fleged uprising, with more and more Zengravi putting on the white shirt, to fight the warlords, the foreigners and all who dared to defile their homeland. By the end of the year, their number had reached a hundred thousands, and soon, they claimed whole regions for themselves. It was at this point, that a coalition of foreign backed warlords, would form a coalition against the white-shirts, using their superior equipment and trained troops, to beat the white shirt movement back towards the Lavania. Wounded in an ambush, Yesui Olya was captured, and imprisoned in the Citadel of the border city of Saraat. Three weeks, she endured torture, abuse and humiliations, cursing her captors and swearing that she would behead all the warlords, building a new nations from their bones. Rescue came from an unexpected source, as Lavania soldiers sized the city, liberating Yesui and hundred of captured white-shirts. With their help, Yesui proclaimed herself as the "Great Uniter" of the Zengrav people, before cutting of her braids, bound in the traditional style of the Minga nobility, making it clear, that she would no longer endure old traditions and culture. Using Lavania equipment, weaponry and advisors, the white-shirts turned from an mass-mob into a fearsome army, fanatical in their devotion to the great uniter and bend on liberating their homeland. On its head, Yesui lead her army back into the heartland of Zengrav, willing to show no mercy against all who stood against her. Around a million people are claimed to have perished in "the march to Zang-Quin" either dying in battle, of starvation, sickness or in the brutal campaigns of punishment against cities who would not surrender their leaders and put on the white shirts. The coalition of warlords was crushed in multiple battles, as their lack in unity and personal infighting hindered them in being able to put up a proper resistance against the unified, trained and well equipped white shirts. The siege of Yuetong, the ancient fortress city on the coats of the Zang-sea, would finally see the end of the era of the warlords, following the mass execution on the banks of the Zang-sea, who´s sheer brutality inspired the famous Eilíft poet and writer Frylikir to write his magnus opus "The day the gods cried red tears". With the resistance broken, Yesui and her white-shirt army marched into the ancient capital of Zang-Quin, parading through the streets like the heavenly emperors of old, before reaching the heavenly palace itself, its eunuch, priests and servants kneelingly awaiting her, offering up the Emperor Crown, ready to proclaim the Olya dynasty. Tossing the crown away, before kicking the priest who had offered it into the groin, she ordered her army to clear out the palace, and burn the banners of old. For Yesui Olya did not wanted to become empress, but to reform Zengrav into a modern nation. Proclaiming the "Reformed Nation of Zengrav", she settled down in the palace with her advisers to rebuild her nation, pacify its regions and lead it into a new future. Twenty years of reconstruction would follow, in which Yesui Olya became Yesui Zengrav-Jeer, the great uniter and mother of her people, and the white-shirt army, the glorious white-shirt party. Slowly reaching fifty, Yesui still holds her old fire in her eyes,

Stats:
|Industrialisation:| I’d like a percentage. 0-20% is tsarist Russia. 80-100% is a modern country like the UK.
