Wᴀᴄᴏɴɪᴀ Wʜᴇᴀᴛʟᴇʏ

Watching the two interact was enough gossip for Waconia to last the rest of the season. "Awww." she cooed audibly. She nodded to Astrid's offer, the two would get together later that night to hear all about the date. "I'll see you then! You better treat her right Alex!" Waconia threatened as she adjusted her raincoat's hood over her curls of pink hair. She waved goodbye, letting the two go on their way as she went towards her own destination; the general store. Strolling through the aisles she made her way to the area with brooms, mops, and other tools for cleaning. Waconia didn't have the need to clean, but had the needs to get her three brooms that she had lost to her roof's upper structures. She browsed over the brooms, looking at their prices, stick length, and ability to return to the store with or without a receipt. Taking out her phone, she decided to bother Red while he was on her mind. Astrid had mentioned his place after all.
You missed quite the show the other night, I'm sure Hope told you?
She pressed send before sending another text quickly.
I wish we we're close again..
She deleted the text, before adding an extra thing to not sound so serious:
I wish we we're close again..lol!
Frowning down at her phone she pressed send and forgot about it, if he replied she would pretend she didn't care one way or the other. Placing the phone back into her pocket she grabbed the longest push broom she could find, and pulled down the hood of her jacket, letting the rain drops fall to the floor, leaving a small puddle underneath her in line. "Morning!" she called to the person at the register, as they rung up her broom.
