He finally saw the message left behind by Paralyze and it hit him pretty hard. Luckily he had Alisea around to keep him from getting obsessed over this, and he was able to come to terms with it. Today had reminded him that it was important not to just discard all of his personal wants for the good of the group. In his mind, being a great leader always came at a sacrifice. This simply was not a healthy mindset for him to have, and he learned that today. Reylan now viewed being a leader as something he wanted to do, not just because it was what was best. He sat down the desk in his room, placing the new paints and brushes along the edge as he flattened out one of the canvas he had. Today had provided him plenty of inspiration, so he was not going to waste it. Eagerly he dab the tip of his first brush in a black paint and began to paint the shape of a cliff. Reylan constantly switched between paints and mixing them as he shaded it properly, the hues as perfect as he could get them. Pink paint dotted the top of the cliff in the form of a cherry blossom tree that, along with the sunset, provided a nice contrast to the dark land. White clouds and running, bright red lava ran down the slopes of the rocks, eventually falling off the edge. After making some finsishing touches and cleaning it up a little, he was finished with his latest work. One he was quite proud of.

Reylan left the canvas to dry as he turned his attention to turning in for the night, the last of his energy now gone. A solid night's rest was needed tomorrow if he was going to get things done right for the guild. In the morning, he would talk to Xenos and River about joining the guild properly and setting up an iron supply. After that was done, he was going to post a few messages on the message boards to promote their guild and a couple other ideas he had. Once finished with that, Reylan's next stop was the info guild known as Data 66 to acquire some information about the other dungeons on this floor as well as some more specific knowledge. A exhausted sigh came out of him as he laid his head down, looking out at window in his room. Today had been one hell of a roller-coaster...and Paralyze...well wherever he was Reylan hoped he was happy. _______________________ Summary: -Bought ->Large Quiver(common) - 60 ->20 Flame Arrows(common) - 140 ->20 Short Shots(common) - 80 ->20 Obsidian Arrows(common) - 120 ->Clothes(common) x 2 - 30 ->Sturdy Clothing(common) - 50 ->Fancy Clothing(common) - 75 ->Leather Gloves -> 20 ->Cloak - 30 ->Shoes - 10 ->Leather Boots - 20 ->Leather Armor(common) - 100 -> Scolls x 5 - 25 -> Canvas x 2 -60 -> Large Paint supplies - 30 ->Actions: -->Quick Load (5/Archer) - User immediately reloads an arrow. 100MP. -125 -->Light Feet (5/Archer) - User immediately dashes to a nearby location, having a small chance of dodging an attack. He had already chatised himself last night over it and today he promised to work on guild duties. First off being the contract with Xenos. Reylan made his way down the stairs to where Xenos and River were awaiting him, relaxing his muscles so he didn't appear so tense "Alright!" He spoke as he approached them."Let's get this started." A small, friendly smile on his face as he sat down at the table "Alrighty, first I suppose proper introductions are in order. Xenos meet Reylan the leader of the Legion of Wolfs and Reylan this is Xenos, probably the best darn tinkerer you could find this side of Talrae" Xenos returned the smile and put down his glass. "The best?" Xenos laughed loudly. "I haven't really had the opportunity to practice my craft. Iron is expensive and just a pain to gather. But hopefully with some support, we can change that around despite the rumors floating around about the Astral Blade and all that." Xenos leaned forward and rested his chin on the back of his hand. So gorgeous, what do we need to do to get an invite from your guild?" River immediately swiped Xenos's hand from under him and gave him a stern look "Stop that. Focus." He adopted a sheepish kind of look at the ratehr grandiose introduction River gave him, he was nowhere as important for that. Reylan listened to Xenos attentively, the mention of the Astral Blades catching his attention. To Reylan, they were the major competition. Gorgeous? That compliment caught him off-guard, it was not something he expected to hear. River's reaction to it however was quite amusing, the two would definitely fit well with the Legion "Well, you mentioned you were willing to repair our gear if we could supply you the iron. That would be a huge help. Also, if you could tell me what you know about the Astral Blades that would be plenty to get an invite. As for River, a person that has the ability to heal is always appreciated." He spoke with a kind tone "Besides, I think you would both get along well with the Legion." Xenos stuck his tongue out at River before returning to his comfortable postion, frowning at Reylan. As much as he would like to tell him... Xenos sat back, fingers tapping on the table. "Repairs are easy so I have no problem with that. The issue with the Astral Blades however... I'm bound by signature not to reveal those details. Information broker confidentiality and all that fun stuff. I can tell you that your party's dungeon clear data could possibly be used as a bargening chip for it though. Or sell it and just purchase the information." "So that's what you were up to all day yesterday? he turned to face Reylan now "As for fitting in with the Legion, well I sure hope so seeing that I'm meeting with one of your guild mates later on after this meeting. They'll get to witness me in action first hand too" River stuck out his hand in a thumbs up motion A look of disappointment filled his face briefly, it was a shame that he wouldn't be able to learn more about his self-appointed adversaries "That is a good point, I planned on taking a trip to Data 66 later today." It fit with his main objective for today which was setting the foundation for a coalition of guilds, a united front to tackle the presumably harder floor-bosses "I bet you won't disappoint." He said turning to River "The way I see it, you two might as already be part of the Legion. So allow me to make a formal invitation." He went through the menu and sent a guild invite to both of them, of course due to the game's structure they wouldn't be 'official' members until the majority of the guild voted them in. Content with the new invitations River smiled towards Reylan then gave a corky smile at Xenos and accepted the guild invitation. He stood of from the table and faced the two of them. "Thank you so much for the invitation, we won't let you down. I'm sure you two have plenty to talk on in the matters of the official contract but I don't believe I'm needed here anymore. Besides, I've got a rogue to catch and a Wolf to tame so I'll be quite busy for try rest of today. Take care and thanks again for the invite!" and with that he gave a polite bow then a wave goodbye to the pair as he hurried out the door. Xenos quickly accepted the invitation and sent Reylan a grin. "Now about securing the iron. We'll probably have to talk to the Council to secure any sort of contract with the mines. Since the dungeon is close to the mines, they are a pretty high risk factor." He shrugged. "If it's anything like what the Astral Blades are doing, it's likely we can be expected to clear the area on a daily basis. But that means dungeon monsters and the Council will undoubtedly require proof of strength, perhaps clearing "The Ravine". The issue I will have moving forward is the Council. I'm afraid politicking isn't quite my forte." Xenos admitted sheepishly. Reylan waved goodbye as River departed "See you later then! Good luck!" Just as they loss one guild member, two more came to fill their ranks. Was this simply how life in this game was going to be? "Leave the council to me then, I'm sure I could convince them." He stated with confidence, though he was not normally the persuasive type. Nevertheless, securing such a contract for the guild would likely prove to be quite beneficial. "Gottcha! I'll leave it to you then, Guildleader!" Xenos gave him a two fingered salute and spun fluidly out of his chair before bowing. "I'll take my leave now master Reylan. If you need me for anything, don't hesitate to ask!" Xenos threw a wink over his shoulder and slid right over to bother Chari. A small chuckle left him at Xenos's eccentric display, seriously...what a guy "Don't worry, I won't. See ya later Xenos." He got up from his seat, waved goodbye to anyone else he knew in the inn and headed out into the city on his own. His first objective was to get their name out there and attract more members, the easiest way to do that was the dashboard.
The city seemed much more lively now that everyone had begun to settle into life here, it was nice to see they weren't giving into fear. Everywhere he went he could feels eyes on him, probably staring at his strange hair and eyes but it was not just that. He had new clothes and a new attitude, he stood a little straighter and walked with more assurance. The loss of Paralyze and Alisea's talk with him had given him the determination to both stay true to himself and become a strong leader. Now in town square, he set about creating the first message; the one inviting others to the guild: Join the Legion of the Wolf!: If you want to help everyone escape this game while having great adventures and forging strong bonds, you should join our guild! You won't have to worry about watching your back when you're in the wolf pack! We have already cleared a dungeon and are looking to clear them all. Contact Reylan if you wish to join or know more, we look forward to having you in our family! - Reylan He hoped that would be good enough to bring in some more players or at least get the ball rolling. After the message was posted, he spotted the one about buying dungeon information. They people who were interested seemed to be the guild "The White Templars". This might be a good thing to check out so Reylan decided to meet this Crystalball later. Next was the Call to Arms, as he liked to say: A United Front: This is an message to all guilds and their guild-leaders. As you all know, We cannot beat this game until every floor is beaten. Every floor dungeon is bound to be much harder than the regular dungeons before it and thus there is a greater risk of life. That is why I am proposing the establishment of a united front to tackle the more difficult bosses that one guild alone cannot. If you truly seek to beat this game and save the lives of everyone in it, message Reylan of the Legion of the Wolf. There will be a meeting in the Guild Hall the day after the Solace Festival for any who wish to attend. - Reylan A lot of his trust and hope was put into that message, as he knew the the floor bosses would more than any one guild could handle...at least without losses. It was only smart to band together to tackle the harder parts of the game, something he hoped they realized. His mind went back to the guild looking for dungeon information and he pulled up the game's messaging system and sent a private message to Cyrstalbal, leader of the White Templars: "Hello Cystalball, I am Reylan of the Legion of the Wolf. My guild recently cleared the dungeon: The Hill's Sorrow. If you are interest in information about the dungeon, I would be happy to sell it you! Cheers!" - Reylan Now that all of that was taken care of, his next destination was the city hall to talk about a special iron contract with the city's council. This would give the guild a much needed source of iron while given them a greater reputation with players and the NPCs. He looked quickly at his inventory, he had no idea what to do with all this raw material they had gotten from the boss. Shrugging, he started on his way excited about the day. The pm suddenly reminded him of something urgent he needed to do.
"Hey, Where are you at right now? I got something I gotta give you."
_____________ Extra:
Color Differences: Scarf is light blue, light brown color is a dull, warm black and the dark brown is a white.
