"[color=ivory]Alright, sounds like a plan.[/color]" Jarde said, not at all minding the rather coarse language used to deliver said plan. "[color=ivory]However, let's get Sordan to go with Jerod. Two skilled swordsmen should guarantee the bandit leader's demise, right?[/color]" He modified the plan to include [u]Sordan[/u]. "[color=ivory]Let's not tarry then.[/color]" The prince concluded before the party got moving.

Like [u]Jerod's[/u] plan, Jarde and Merilia went after the left flank, [u]Jerod[/u] and [u]Sordan[/u] went to the right flank and [u]Rionach[/u] linked up with the swordswoman at the center. Keerin covered [u]Jerod[/u] and [u]Sordan[/u] by casting a few Thunder spells at the Brigands, scattering them and allowing the two swordsmen a clear path towards the leader. The party had the added benefit of a surprise and the battle commenced.

Over at [u]Rionach's[/u] side, the green-haired woman was surprised that she had allies in this battle. "[color=darkgreen]W-Who are you?[/color]" She asked [u]Rionach[/u] as the two of them stood against three of the axe-wielding Brigands. "[color=darkgreen]Ah, we should save the formal introductions later. Right now, we need to deal with these bandits. I'll follow your lead.[/color]" She then added. "[color=darkgreen]Although, at least knowing your name would help communication.[/color]"

Meanwhile with [u]Jerod[/u] and [u]Sordan[/u], the bandit leader saw magical lightning bolts scatter three of his men. "[color=gold]W-What the?! An ambush?![/color]" He panicked briefly but immediately regained composure. "[color=gold]Who do you think you are?! You think you can stand up to Batta the Beast?![/color]" He yelled at [u]Jerod[/u] and [u]Sordan[/u] as he prepared for battle.

When [u]Jerod[/u] and [u]Sordan[/u] made their first strikes, the bandit leader caught both their attacks with the handle of his two-handed axe. He then parried them both away and followed it up by tackling [u]Jerod[/u] into [u]Sordan[/u], knocking both the swordsmen into the ground on top of each other.

"[color=gold]ÉG RÍF YKKUR Í BITA![/color]" The bandit leader brought his axe up high, ready to bring it down on [u]Jerod[/u] and [u]Sordan[/u] and deal the killing blow to at least one of them. But they had time to react.

The standoff was interrupted by [u]Dancia[/u] speaking. Something that irked the public speaker.

"[color=fff79a]What do you know?![/color]" The speaker barked at [u]Dancia[/u]. "[color=fff79a]Were you at Dragonrage Pass?! Were you there to witness that battle that would tear Arcadia asunder?! Were you there to witness the horror?![/color]" He angrily asked the Dancer. "[color=fff79a]No! It's all too obvious! Who shall gain the most out of this war between the League and the Dwarves? Of course it's those who will not fight it! The Ortusians![/color]" He explained to everyone. "[color=fff79a]Even the blind sees this![/color]"

"[color=fff79a]Ah, don't tell me. Are you actually sympathizers of Ortusians? How much have they offered you to lick their boots?[/color]" He began accusing [u]Dancia[/u]. "[color=fff79a]Perhaps it is not only these four men that need be hanged...[/color]" As soon as the speaker said that, the Footmen have begun to slowly descend upon [u]Dancia[/u] and her group with their arms at the ready.
