[center]Energy given off by the souls of the students around and within the school floated around the halls and courtyards like ethereal clouds. Though these energies weren't visible to the students themselves, they were visible to the entity that now prowled the halls with a small tendril of a black substance. Unlike the energy, this tendril was visible. It was like a featureless snake no thicker then a pencil, worming it's way across the floor. The sounds of a girl began to echo around the halls. The sound attracted the attention of the exploring entity. The small tendril stopped for a moment, before scattering across the floor toward Jackelyn. [/center]
