Yeah, Caoimhe is more of a ranged fighter, only using her sword when it wouldn't be at all practical to use her bow. Better way to think of it is that she trains in melee to keep her skills sharp, but trains her bowmanship to actually improve and be better.

Her lute isn't terribly important, it's more a skill she picked up in an attempt to keep dark nights a little less cold and unfriendly. She's a hobbyist, and has no real delusions that she'll ever be good enough to publicly perform.
