[b]Alteration: [/b][i]Light Manipulation[/i]. Samson's Alteration gives him the ability to interact with light in a variety of ways. Most relevantly, that he can control it as well as use it as a pseudo-replacement for his faulty vision. (Due to Samson's Albinism he can essentially only see blurs without any sort of vision enhancement) with some complications. Samson's control over his Alteration is primitive, due to family issues. His affinity for light enables him to filter light in way that allows him to see normally. Furthermore, he usually has a general sense of his surroundings regardless of his vision due to having a sense for where the light is, like a strange sort of echolocation. In addition, he can manipulate light in a more general sense, such as creating blinding bursts of light or blocking it from entering an area. 

[b]Downside:[/b] Samson has not spent much time using his Alteration, thus can only use it crudely. His general use of his ability is limited to short bursts, that are also draining on Samson's Alteration 'battery' so to speak, meaning that an overuse of his abilities will render him unable to them until he recharges. In the same vein his ability to multi-task his powers use is limited and he can usually only do one thing at a time. Naturally being in sunlight causes his battery to recharge faster. Overusing is also likely to cause migraines, make him temporarily degrade his vision(or permanently if overused excessively) and sometimes cause light to behave erratically around him. Finally, as one might imagine, his Alteration is nigh entirely useless depending on the light level.

[b]Personality:[/b] Samson is a rather interesting person with a few conflicting traits grown out of a somewhat hardship filled life. His self-esteem is low but he works harder than anyone to achieve want he wants. Too much attention makes him uncomfortable though he can enjoy spending time being near other people. He tends to care for and put others before himself, even, or perhaps especially, when it comes to minor things. Samson would never start a fight without reason, but he is sure to hold his ground if forced into a corner. He is exceedingly polite and treats everyone with respect. He hates being pitied for his albinism, is proud of his ability to be self-sufficient, and rarely expects, or wants help from other people. He spends a great deal of time in silence and enjoys peaceful activities, like reading(braille), meditation, or writing: as well as more vigorous physical activity, given that he is in shape and plans to stay that way. Pet peeves not being called by his full name, entitled people, and those are dismal towards others. Basically anything he perceives as a lack of respect. If you couldn't tell, he takes himself very seriously. 
 

[b]Appearance:[/b] First and foremost, Samson suffers from Albinism, which results in his skin and hair being pale and his eyes being a vivid shade of red. His hair is long and falls to about mid-back in a single sheaf, is carefully taken care of, and smoothed back such that it doesn't obscure his face or ears. He tends to dress neatly and/or simply, such as in black dress pants and shirt; or a simple pair of sweats and a plain t-shirt. A characteristic that helps him stand out in a crowd even more, is that he stands at just shy of six feet tall and is muscled such that it's obvious he works out or does some sort of sport. His torso region bears some scars but those are unlikely to be seen by anyone.
