The night before: After having his training session, Seth returned to his room. He was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. When he reached his room, he collapsed onto his bed and let out a sigh before he curled up into the fetal position and fell asleep. As he fell deeper into sleep he found himself falling into a dream. Seth stood in the middle of his village watching all the villagers go about their daily activities. He saw Jinx hobble towards her hut and one of the Hunters joking with another Hunter as he recounted his day. He saw his mother and ran towards her calling her name. As she turned she erupted into flames causing Seth to skid to a stop. Seth looked around at the once busy village was now erupting in flames. The lifeless bodies of the Moon Bloods riddled the ground as their blood stained the ground. Seth Started to hyperventilate as he looked around at the carnage before him. “Wonderful isn’t it?” someone asked. Seth turned towards the voice and his eyes widened. Standing over a lifeless body of a Moon Blood was himself. His doppelgangers claws were coated with crimson blood as were its clothes. His snow white hair and tail had changed to a crimson red color, and when the Doppelganger turned to face Seth. He saw that its eyes were not candy apple red, but pitch black like pools of darkness. Seth slowly backed away from the Doppelganger as a crooked smile formed on its face as it began to speak again, “What’s wrong? Isn’t this what you wanted? To evolve?” Seth couldn’t speak as he continued to back away from the Doppelganger. All he could do was shake his head. The Doppelganger’s smile faded before he kicked the lifeless body of the Moon Blood towards Seth. He tripped over his own feet as the body fell in front of him. “Don’t lie, you know I can help. I’ve done it before and I can do it again,” the Doppelganger said matter-a-factly as Seth stared into the lifeless eyes of his father. Seth started to hyperventilate again, but his fear turned to rage as he suddenly charged at the Doppelganger. Seth threw a punch, but the Doppelganger easily caught it in its own palm. Its claws dug into Seth’s knuckles making him scream in pain and stumbling back. Seth fell backward to the ground and saw the puncture wounds in the back of his hand. There was no blood coming from his wounds, but his eyes widened in fear as he saw burning red veins start from the holes and up towards his arm. The Doppelganger laughed, “You can’t deny what’s already inside you.” it was close to Seth's face as it continued, “Your Primal side is much too strong to keep caged. It will devour you whole.” Crimson red liquid started to pour from the Doppelgangers mouth as it drew closer to Seth and Seth was consumed in darkness. Set shot awake in a cold sweat. He was no longer in his bed but standing at his door. He started breathing rapidly as he stared at the claw mark etched into the door. His body began to shake as he looked at his right hand and saw bits of the wood under his nails. Present Day: Seth stared into space as the meeting began. He had pulled several slivers from his fingers and patched them up before arriving in the throne room. Seth soon snapped out of his trance as Ambassador Louis Perrot was introduced. He quickly bowed and said, “It’s an honor to meet you, Ambassador. I am Seth Rush of the Moon Bloods from the world called Elysia” Once introductions were done Louis began to speak to the group and was willing to aid their rescue of the Princess of heart known as Adelle Le Agathe. “You have my word as a Moon Blood Ambassador. I will protect Adelle Le Agathe with my life,” Seth said as he bowed again. Seth’s ears suddenly perked up when Zarxe spoke and summoned his hounds. He didn’t like the scent of them and didn’t like the fact he couldn’t smell them while he was here. However, Seth still bowed and said, “It’s an honor to meet you Zarxe.” --- When Ambassador Louis Perrot was introduced Alex simply waved and said, “Sup.” He really didn’t care about what title this guy had. He was interested in the information he had. While Louis Perrot was speaking Alex took out an electric cigarette and snapped the tip off. He placed it between his lips and inhaled before exhaling white smoke. He watched the hologram of Adelle Le Agathe appeared and he chuckled a little, “Your hologram drives needs a little more work. It’s not exactly crystal clear, but as long as we get the jest of what the princess looks like. We should be fine.” Alex continued to listen as they described the ship and how Zarxe basically saw through their deception. He let out another cloud of white smoke before he said, “I agree with Zarxe. Your ship design is simply letting everyone know you’re not someone to fuck with. So why not go in with guns ready to kill? Why are you stunning the enemy? Kill them and get it over with so they’re not coming back to bite us in the ass. Don’t tell me you actually think our enemy might one day join our side. If that’s the case, what delusional world do you live in? We’re not going to fight, see eye to eye, and then sing campfire songs. This is war, you either kill or be killed.”
