Within seconds his shoulders rose and fell in the slow cadence of sleep. By the time he appeared to have fallen asleep Ben had already reached the street outside, cloaked by illusion and invisible. He wasn't worried about losing the three girls, as long as that one kept hold of that acorn he would be able to find wherever they happened to be. Breaking it was only necessary to gain his attention. There were four of them that had been brought to this world and he was interested in finding more. The thought had crossed his mind that whatever even had prompted the use of this shelter hadn't been whatever he and his companions had done. The timing was too close so it followed that there was something else going on at the moment. What he would give to have Fiddler and that Deck of his to do a reading right now. He couldn't begin to guess if any ascendants were present here or, indeed, if the same houses he was familiar with were. Not that the last reading had done much at all to sooth anyones fears. So he wandered, observing those walking and crafting himself an illusory appearance that blended in more effectively while maintaining the copy of him still in the shelter. A feat no more taxing than hiding an entire squad of marines. So this world was all that different from her own, save the lack of anyone that she knew here. Well, that mean that a possible course of action was to arm herself. It wasn't as if there were any risk to her life but given that there had been a dragon attack earlier then she certainly needed something for the time being. Wondering if the rougher areas of the city were the same as she knew, Ennis balled up the checkered paper that had wrapped the food and dropped it into a trash bin. THe homunculus then headed off to where she hoped she might find some criminals to relieve of their weapons. — London — She turned with a look of mild astonishment on her face. The appearance of attackers in broad daylight was only a mild surprise but somehow with such an array of creatures there were none that belonged to any race that she recognized. With a flash of light she stood there as Birdy Cephon, Federation officer. She took off at a run, heels strike sparks from the street, charging down the nearest target and scything through it with a spinning kick. Normally lethal force was not something she employed but these things had already shown a disregard for civilian lives. With this small armoured person seemingly content with taking on the smaller monsters Bridy set her sights upon the largest. Moving faster than even the quickest of them, she darted through the monsters and used a parked car as a launching point, delivering a flying punch to the face of a one eyed giant.
