[s]I was hoping to take Hephaestus, though I was thinking of leaning more into the metal working side. 

How’s this, they can treat any metal as though it were red hot from the forge. So, soft and maleable(although still requiring some force to shape). They don’t actually heat the metal, just when they interact with it(even indirectly through a hammer) it is workable. 

Before learning control, they would constantly break metal objects, as they lose structural integrity. [/s]
