Fair enough.  I'll figure what other character I'd want to play then.  I'm assuming Descole is out because he was an antagonist before becoming a sort of hero in Azran Legacy?  His last appearance of the series does make it open-ended what he ends up doing, though no longer with the drive for vengeance that made him a villain before.  (The fact that he was willing to sacrifice his life to save the world [i]might[/i] count for something.)

I won't push Descole though if you still consider him a villain for being a villain in most of his appearances.  I'm sorry for annoying you for asking about another villain character if that's the case. I simply considered Descole more of a borderline case because of how his story ended in the Professor Layton series.

If Descole is unacceptable, I'll figure out a different character.
