Eyes: Colour Distinguishing Marks: No tattoos or piercings, but she has a small scar at the top of her forehead, and a surgery scar on her right knee. Style: Lucy tends to dress quite practically, and always appropriately for the weather. Mostly she wears jeans or leggings, along with outdoorsy style fleeces, coats, and tops, ussually paired with trainers. She much prefers comfort to looking nice, although she will dress nicely and wear a little makeup for events where not doing so would be more trouble than it's worth.

Skills & Occupation

Occupation: Currently unemployed, not for lack of trying though. She's worked at the caravan park, 3/4 of the shops in town, a call centre in a different town, and as a tutor. At the moment she's trying to get a degree in English Literature with the Open University, but she seems to spend more time wandering round town aimlessly than actually working on it. Hobbies & Interests: Watching the squirrels, wandering aimlessly, exploring, reading. Skills: Quite academic on the quiet, she did quite well in school, at least when the teachers could tolerate her getting up and walking out of class in the middle of lessons. She knows a fair bit about magic, at least as much as Jeanine could get her to learn growing up. Supernatural Sensitivity: High

Psychology

Personality: A bit of a space case, the only real value Lucy sees in doing anything expected of her by anyone is that it might get them to stop moidering her. She plays life by her own set of rules, and won't do anything she doesn't want to - attempts to get her to do so usually end with her simply stopping the activity in question. Fortunately, she doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body, and whilst she's unlikely to stand up for anyone unless they're in real danger, she is just as unlikely to instigate a fight. Whilst she does care about people, and she does feel things deeply, she has a funny way of showing it. She's well aware that people find it difficult to get along with her, and whilst it doesn't bother her much, she deeply values the people who do take the time to get to know her instead of just dismissing her. A lot of the time, she seems to be more in tune with the town itself than the people in it, although she can get cocky sometimes, and doesn't know as much as she thinks she does. She relies a lot more on her high sensitivity to the spirit world than she does on real world information, and is more prone to believing the weird explaination for things than the simple one. She has an endgame in mind though, whether things turn out the way she wants them too... well, we'll just have to wait and see, won't we? Bio: As a child, Lucy was a little difficult. She was raised for the first fifteen years of her life in one of the nice bits of Eastfort, and her parents were both police officers for Rawyn constabulary. She had what her parents thought was a rich imagination, often talking to 'imaginary friends', and conversing with the walls of the community centre at friends' birthday parties and in swimming lessons. She was never loud or rude, and she wouldn't shout or throw a tantrum when told to do something like a lot of kids, she just wouldn't do it. Her parents worried, of course, but of the five doctors they took her to see, none of them could find anything in particular that was wrong with her. In fact, it wasn't until her taid(grandfather) died, that they got any answers at all. Long story short, she got possessed by the spirit of her dead taid to pass a message on from beyond the grave. In a tizzy, her increasingly concerned parents took her to see the head of the witch's coven - Jeanine Williams, who confirmed what they suspected; their daughter had an unusually high sensitivity to spirits, and there really wasn't very much they could do about it. From then on, Lucy started tagging along to meetings of the coven at the community centre in order to learn more about her gifts. As she got older, Jeanine started grooming her to take over as her successor at some point in the future. When she was ten though, her life changed forever when, on the way back from the Sunday meeting, her and her Dad got into a terrible car accident, which left Lucy traumatised and even more estranged from the world before, and her father dead. Her mum blamed Lucy for the accident, and their relationship quickly deteriorated, culminating in Lucy running away from home, and spending three nights sleeping rough round the back of the shopping centre. Eventually the police found her and brought her back home, but once more, she ran away, this time opting for a nice spot by the train station. The cycle kept repeating itself, until a compromise was reached - Lucy would stay with Jeanine whilst her mother worked through her grief, and when the two's relationship improved, she would move back home. This, unfortunately, never happened, and to this day Lucy lives with Jeanine in her small flat in South Rawyn. Weaknesses and/or fears: Lucy is terrified of cars, for fairly obvious reasons, and chooses to walk everywhere. Not really a problem seeing as Rawyn is quite small and walking is technically exercise, but not really conductive to travelling outside of Rawyn, seeing as the public transport is atrocious. Not so much a fear as an aversion, but she has a deep subconscious belief that once a relationship is broken it can't be repaired, and as such, she tends to avoid people she's had fallings out with, and will never be the first one to apologise, even if it was her fault. Loneliness is something she finds deeply perturbing, mostly because she's never truly experienced it having always been highly aware of the many spirits around her. Lucy broke her left leg in the accident and had to have surgery to sort it out. As such, she still sometimes experiences weakness there.
