The deaths of Aleecia and Rika hit her the hardest she couldn't believe what she was hearing, people she had spoken to only moments before were gone taken from them by Davis and all Emily could do was faint. The caretaker felt a plethora of emotions gnawing at her but only wondered why it wasn't her instead of them? They did something unlike her all Emily could do, was being carried through the night the caretaker felt a wave of guilt wash over her as she thought about how if she wasn't indisposed she could have done something for one or at least both of them. Emily apologized to Mercy and thanked her before going to her room and sealing the rest of the world outside she couldn't show her face to the others she felt that the deaths of Rika and Aleecia were her fault, she wiped away tears and started to reconsider her infinite title. Emily was beginning to wonder if she was gifted the label as a joke or if she was only given it because of her looks. Emily started feeling less like an infinite, or less of the one she considered herself to be. A better infinite wouldn't have let those two died. A stronger person wouldn't have had fainted when a machine was talking to them and feared for their own life. A real caretaker would've taken care of Aleecia and made sure she didn't get hurt."I'm no caretaker my infinite title is a lie." She told herself while staring at the corner of her room." Someone like myself could never rise to be anything of the sort of thing I'm just here because of my looks I am just useless." The only time she would leave her room was during the nights, and hid away from the others during the day, feeling as if the deaths of Rika, Aleecia, Mason, and Quill were all her fault. If she told Rika to stay with the support team or even not participate, she would've still been alive and could've stopped Aleecia when it comes to Quill if she just looked more into her situation she could've prevented Mason's death. Then out of nowhere, Emily left her room leaving the door wide open, her hair was a mess, her eyes were lidded and bloodshot as if she didn't sleep for days. Emily wasn't exactly going anywhere, just wandering through the hallways without any direction or place destination set for herself going up and down the floors without going into any rooms taking only a moment of time mumble something to herself." I'm weak..." Before continuing and ignoring anyone trying to stop her. She didn't bother speaking to anyone or acknowledging their existence, just mumbling to herself and feeling as if she was alone." It's really dark here." She spoke aloud on the second floor while staring up at the lights, then mumbled." I'm not worthy of being considered an infinite." She stood next to the Pharmacy like some kind of statue not bothering to move an inch."It's my fault their all gone, my fault they died, my fault... My fault." She ranted.
