[@Vec] wat? no. I got the bear thing from an offhand comment by Cyclone, she initially had nothing to do with them. The whole 'mother bear' thing initially inspired it (as in, she's a mighty warrior, protective, but also loving, kind to those she protects) and then I built on that.

As for her actually becoming a bear... not entirely. Watch the Godspeed IC and mayhaps you'll find out the truth
