[b][color=a64dff]Personality:[/color][/b] With a delusional contortionist for a mother and a magician for a father, Folly has a decidedly more muted personality. Her father attempted to kill her when she was thirteen, scarring her. Her mother was murdered when she was seventeen and her father was killed soon after. She had enough psychological wounds to land her in a mental institution before she turned twenty. Altogether, she has become rather quiet, her words rarely above a whisper. Silence is one of her coping mechanisms, though it no longer is as successful as it once ones. She's lost her grip on reality.

Beyond the voices in her head and the hallucinations that she cannot tell apart from reality, she is rather talented. She is incredibly creative, enjoying stories and imagining other possibilities. When she was very little, in fact, she wanted to go to Hogwarts. Folly picks up on things quickly, being a Jack of All Trades type when it comes to intellectual matters. Whether it be math or English, Folly excels at it. She can succeed at mostly anything, as long as she can keep her wits about her. 

When her grip on reality fades, she becomes increasingly paranoid. She talks to the voices and argues with them, often becoming more and more violent. Her anger at the world for all of the sorrow she has experienced comes out and everyone appears to be a deserving target. If in this frenzied state, only her friend Marygold is safe - everyone else may as well be her father, trying to kill her again, or the demon that murdered her mother. She has a lot of repressed anger and this is how it is ultimately expressed. There's no reasoning with her once she's gone into this frenzied state. 	After the tragedy in [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/4230215]Coventry[/url] at the end of 2016, Folly fled Cirque Anomaly. Everyone she cared about was dead and there was no point in trying to build something out of ash. She walked from Coventry to Salem and then hopped on the commuter rail to Boston. The charges against her had been dropped, but her experiences were slowly driving her mad. She stayed in various shelters for months, each night waking up in fits of rage. They were controllable until she moved to Cromwell House, having accepted some help from a cousin to get consistent accommodation. 

	Unspeakable horrors were soon to follow. Folly checked herself into Beth Israel Psychiatric Hospital, having realized the bottom she had sunk to. She was well aware of her healing factor at this point, yet it was a while until she realized that the medication simply couldn't work for her. Her system eliminated it as quickly as it was taken in. Folly ditched the hospital and went to the one place that might be able to help - Xavier's Institute. Some of the mutants there were able to stop her when the voices and the visions grew to be too much and she couldn't control herself, but she needed actual treatment. Professor Xavier recommended a psychiatric hospital where a former student of his worked, hopeful that their psychic ability would help them to treat Folly's psychosis. 

	The treatment helped - yet it was not effective. It only managed to keep her from becoming worse. She didn't get better. Those frustrations were expressed in letters to Marygold, her good friend from her time at the institute. When the weeks out of date newspapers were delivered to the facility and Folly learned of the attack on X-Mansion, she broke out of the facility and went to find her friends. She wanted to help them and knew that if she stayed at the facility, O.M.E.N. would come for her too. 

	For the past ten years, she has been fighting with the X-Men, the Brotherhood, and whatever mutants remain. Beast had managed to synthesize a drug to treat her psychosis, allowing her to remain stable. The drug is based off of Wolverine's DNA, but the valiant fighter perished two years ago. They were not able to recover his body and the remaining material is all used up. There's no medication left to keep her violent and mad tendencies in check. But she's one of the best fighters left - they need her. She's the only one who can take a bullet and shake it off. [hr][hr][h3][b][i][color=a64dff][center]Powers[/center][/color][/i][/b][/h3]

Back in 2018, Folly stayed at Xavier's Institute for a brief while. Although she was never a student or a member of the X-Men, she became friends with another girl her age there - Marygold Isley. Unlike the others who were terrified of the mad girl with a regenerative healing factor, Marygold didn't care. She was the closest thing Folly ever had to a best friend and had her psyche not already been so fractured, Marygold's death would have broken her. Seeing her now is strange but...It's good. She's missed her dearly.

Before Beast developed a serum to treat her psychosis, nothing worked. She was descending further and further into madness, unable to keep a grip on reality. She had begun to lose herself completely. Her deepest regret is that she could not do the same for Beast - that when he needed her, she failed him. It was her fault that he was killed by the Sentinels and she will never forgive herself for it. If she cannot save the future, if she can only save one person...It would be Hank. She owes him a debt.

Although Folly had known Pietro for a few years, it was only after Wanda died that they became close friends. Her mental health hadn't been improved at all with what she could only describe as the end of the world, especially given that those with super strength, such as Wolverine, had to restrain her for her own good at least once a week. Beast's medication helped to keep her level, but the conversations with another Roma (Pietro) helped significantly as well. He knows the warning signs of an upcoming psychotic break better than anyone else does and she trusts him. [hr]

Carolina tends to keep her distance from Folly - especially when she's starting to lose her grip on reality. And while this irritated Folly at first, she understands the need to be wary around her. They don't need a repeat of the last incident. And because of this, Folly hasn't formed much of an opinion on Carolina. She seems to be capable and that's really all that Folly needs to know about her.

Folly grew up in the same Circus that Thalia performed in. Thalia had been friends with her mother, as well as working as an assistant to her father. They made it through the events of Coventry together, but after that, Folly vanished and they lost contact. When they reunited, it was hard at first. Folly's psychosis was so similar to Boris' at times. But they've managed to work past it - and Beast's serum has certainly helped with that.
