Meesei found it curious that Neesa had singled out Lunise from their group to focus her attention on, especially considering that Meesei doubted that Neesa remembered which of them had or had not been present over ten years prior. She had hardly even remembered Meesei's face. Regardless, that mystery did not remain for long as Neesa continued. 

"Hmm, a shame." Neesa replied, dropping the heart back down on a plate. She took a sniff of the air, then clasped her hands together in front of her. "But I am curious, what is it that a plain, regular mortal is doing with a pack of dogs? Are you their handler?" She grinned.
