Day Two
[@Andronicus23] For the current part, while the message was delivered - the Enclave seemed to be dealing with their own things. Thus, the advantage for recovering the beryllium agitator was in the hands of the Institute for the moment.
[@Polaris North] While the cost for clearing and security might been sky-high - the Triggermen were willing to cut a good enough deal with Mayor Hancock. Namely in the regard, that Goodneighbor would be getting any 'items' that the people recovered from the surrounding ruins. It was in essence, an empty promise in all honesty - since nobody expected to find much beyond dirt, concrete and rubble. Although once the bare bones work of clearing the area started getting underhand - the investment started paying off. Namely, Mayor Hancock soon had tales, of stuff popping out of the ruins like glowing fungus. Most of it was the simple Old-War junk that was too busted to be of use, yet they were digging them out by the piles. It gave many people time to pop out the useful junk from the regular junk. The wastelander wasn't anything if creative and innovative. Plus, once the hidden piles of chems, that some old skeletons had hidden inside cupboards or suitcases started appearing - Hancock would soon start to get a steady supply in. It was natural, many of the workers weren't that hooked on chems like Hancock' group was. But they respected him enough and wide his aid in helping to clear the area - he earned that respect of the people, that they were able and willing to smuggle of chems to him - instead of the other way around. As it was, Hancock was getting his investment back rather nicely, and the interest would likely keep on climbing - since they had barely scratched the surface of the area.
[@Elgappa] The choice of sending a kid out with a message into the rather chaotic wasteland known as the Commonwealth might have been a stupid one in essence. Although, by this point - the heavy-fighting during the Days of Chaos had produced a rather interesting situation. Namely it left a Commonwealth that was void of most heavy gangers, raiders or the occasional mad junkie. Nobody planned on staying in the area that was nowadays called 'No-Mans Land'. Namely, if one was quick enough, hid well and didn't stick too long in any particular location - they could move through the wasteland without much issue. Thus, the young kid wouldn't get into much trouble, he likely wouldn't be trained for and easily would manage to reach the encampment of Church' Regiment.
