Luka didn’t even try to hide his grin as Percival and Indigo greeted him. He chuckled at the twins’ bickering, feeling comfortable in a way he rarely did. Moments like this were the ones that made him almost forget about his old life; when his outgoing mask stopped being a mask at all. It hadn’t been long, but he was already starting to consider this place home. More of a home, at least, than his parents’ house.

He shook himself out of his sentimental feelings quickly. He [i]had[/i] come for work, but food was a tempting offer.

The twins referred to her as “Queens” and everything fell into place. Their easy demeanors put him at ease, though, and he took a seat at the bar, not bothering to remove the headphones still playing music from around his neck.
