For a number of months now, freshly graduated from Harvard with a major role within the core of the company. Due to her father’s difficulties under house arrest a lot of the company’s major operations are run through Leticia. On paper she is credited as Executive Director of Operations.

Appearance

There is no question that Leticia is a beautiful, confident, and dangerous woman. There are many men who have fallen prey to Leticia’s appearance and many of them have ended up regretting it. Leticia has inherited much of her mother with her jawline and lips, tough much more of her father can be seen through her eyes and sheer power of personality. The Hispanic-American woman stands at very nearly 5’3”. Her mother still beats her by two inches, however. Leticia likes formal, professional attire just as much as she likes suggestive dresses. She wears her hair long and it goes down to her shoulders, though on occasion she is known to draw her hair into a ponytail. She keeps a silver bracelet around her left wrist – a present from her father that she has held onto for many years now. A long necklace with a catholic cross is always around her neck, though few would describe Leticia as a pious woman. One of her former boyfriends once iterated that her obsession with the necklace was more out of posturing than legitimate faith. Ultimately, depending on who you ask you could get an entirely different perception of Leticia with some of those perspectives being not exactly the most kind. With that said, Leticia doesn’t pretend she is the easiest to get along with and knows full well that her inquisitive and passionate tendencies can be taken for a hot-headed invasiveness that most people don’t particularly like; but she frankly doesn’t care if people see her incorrectly as a result; she isn’t going to change who she is to suit other people because they cannot handle a little curiosity, wit, and passion. Leticia knows who her friends are and sheds few tears over people giving her a dirty look or snide comment. From her perspective, they are meaningless affronts that she’ll likely have to deal with her whole life just like her family has dealt with it for generations. Beyond her dismissal of negative view of herself and her actions, Leticia is a bit more than just being a little hot-headed and invasive. She’s strongly passionate with her hobbies, interests, and extracurricular activities whilst still proving to her parents that she’s the competitive academic that they want her to be. The Castillo lineage is full of people who have to own up to their legacy and provide something to it, often with mixed results. This standard to meet can be especially daunting, especially given that new expectations seem to show themselves every single day as a new test of endurance for Leticia to face — even if she’s consistent in her academics, is she to par in Tennis? Had Leticia no passions of her own, she probably would’ve gone insane by this point in her life. The most terrifying thing about her is the mere fact that she is the exact reflection of her father.
Upbringing

Leticia was born on April 1st, 1993. She came early, a fact that at the time was not a joke at all, though in recent years is reflected in good humor. Leticia’s childhood, on the other hand, was not quite funny or befit of irony. Leticia had many friends growing up in Salem, though it was clear from very early on that Leticia didn’t really care about them. In fact, in many ways Leticia was a full-blown sociopath and grifter, always looking for an angle to manipulate for her benefit whether it was emotional or physical in nature. Her family had taught her that this was an acceptable mindset to take. A distant relative ingrained the ideology that working hard was all well and good, but convincing your rival to help you destroy themselves was even better. Leticia destroyed her first friendship at eight years old. She considered it a harmless game. The girl in question was never the same and later would go on to be another cog in the wheel of Salem, Illinois. Had she never met Leticia Castillo she may have been somebody. It’s a fact that Leticia takes pride in, almost taking pride in it like someone’s first trophy. It’s one of the names in her “burn book”. Leticia, ever the perfect little daughter, eventually found herself working hard to keep her father’s attention and praise. Her older brother served as an obstacle in this regard. While she loved Adrían quite strongly, she cared about being the “top” sibling more. This sense of competiveness was something that she applied not only to her academics but also her athletics and responsibilities at home. “Leticia plays to win” became a common phrase amongst her family. Though this would all be set back for a short while when at the age of ten years old Leticia found herself standing in silence as police officers barged into her home and took her father from her. An event that would throw her family into temporary chaos and kindle the fire that was her grudge with law enforcement. A grudge she would keep well into adulthood. Leticia grew smarter as she grew older, never forgetting the sleights done against her and her family. She found a release of sorts on the tennis court and continued to excel in her academics, though her biggest concerns were that of her eldest brother whom she had seen grow bitter and unhappy. Such bitterness worried Leticia, though there wasn’t much she could do to influence him despite her greatest attempts at trying. Their age difference, priorities, and perspectives were all so very different, after all. Eventually Adrian set off for Law School while Leticia herself looked toward her family’s legacy – the family business – with an eager and ambitious appetite. She began working hard to appease those who would review her academic record and soon enough she found herself on the east coast, away from home for the first time in ages, at the ivy league university known as Harvard. It would be at Harvard where Leticia would grow into the woman she is now, fully confident and dangerous devious. The childlike inquisitiveness and competitiveness had taken a new form. In a lot of ways Salem had been a training ground for Leticia, to prepare her for the dog-eat-dog world of the ivy leagues. The connections she would make at Harvard, unlike that of her adolescence, would stay with Leticia as she had learned that it was better to make friends, use them, and keep them rather than destroy them utterly and completely. The years passed and Leticia returned to Salem with her master’s in hand. The family she had left had changed and instantly she knew what she had to do. Leticia was ready to get to work.
