Axel woke up and yawned. He sat up on his bed. His Digivice chirped and he picked it up. a white vaugely fox-like creature appeared on the screen. "Good Morning Axel," The creature said. "Sleep well?" "Eh, about as good as I ever do." Axel replied. He pressed a button on the device and digimon emerged, now sitting on the bed. It quickly jumped up Axel's arm and sat down on his shoulder. It's amber eyes looking at Axel. "I know what you are thinking Kudamon," Axel started. "I'm sorry, I.." Axel paused briefly. "I just can't do that yet." "Axel, it has been over a hundred years. You really should. In fact, you know that you should, so get off your keister and go do it. Even if you just dip your toe in." Kudamon lectured. It was clear that there was something that Axel has put off doing since he came to File City, and his partner had enough of the procrastination. "You might be rusty had it, but I'll be there if you need help." "Kudamon, you're not exactly a social butterfly yourself. Are you sure that you're the best one to help me with this?" Axel interjected as he grabbed his stuff off the nightstand. The statement did not come off as rude in Axel's mind as it seemed to have been when he opened his mouth. Axel apologized. "Axel," Kudamon started. "I am your partner. I am supposed to stay with you. That is why I don't really interact with others. I will do it, unlike a certain shut-in." Kudamon smiled, indicating he was mostly joking with that comment. "Now come on, maybe you will meet a new friend today." Kudamon said optimistically. Kudamon jumped back down to the bed so that Axel could change into his actual clothes. "Yeah, when pigs fly." Axel replied as he exited his living quarters, with Kudamon back on his shoulder.
