Isa seems to, at least on first glance, to not exactly open up for anyone nor speak up much except one single person. Mostly through a various combination of experiences during her past that led to an otherwise supposed free spirited female into a life of obedience and withdrawal for most other thoughts other than to survive through any means necessary. Whether she chooses to be mute herself or has otherwise trauma that prevents her from speaking up too much is up for debate. The rest of her personality traits or habits are either too few in number or hard to discern as of yet. History: Black Reef was nothing but hospitable for perhaps a few rare individuals or groups. In Isa's case this was also unfortunately the same. Raids and pillaging felt like a common occurrence and even she could not evade such an event when coming face-to-face with it. She holds no recollection of any previous or otherwise original family and vaguely remembers the early days of slave trading. Being jumped and thrown from place to place, ship to ship, person to person. Her troublesome and early age didn't earn her much use at the time, but nevertheless many people decided to at least attempt to make her useful on the ships she was on. Though most of them were not the good kind. Not for her health, mentally speaking at the very least. Sometimes she was a plaything, sometimes she was taught simple things such as basic cleaning, sewing, and cooking in her later years. It didn't take her long to adjust and adopt obedience, for the sole sake of having a chance of survival if nothing else. On one particular occasion, during the time on one of the last ships she was a slave to, she ended up meeting a fairly gigantic male whom seemed to be different from the rest. A slave as she was, but not cruel nor mean to her. The only one to seemingly take her under their wing and not do anything to harm her in some form or manner. A glimmer of hope in her eyes, she took a liking to him solely due to the man's seemingly friendly demeanor. Alongside him, she would serve as a cook for quite some time and learn quite a lot more than she'd expect. But alas, not all things have happy endings. The next thing she remembers is getting tied to chains and smelling the open air and hearing the tender sound of the sea. A dozen souls from that ship were thrown overboard that day, destined to die beneath the gargantuan seabed. Things however did not turn out quite as they had seemed. Drifted ashore with the help of Irving, she now also had another problem on her hands. A mass that barely resembled something like a sea slug, but it looked a bit too different and mutated to be such. It felt alien to the touch and would not come off willingly or by force. In the end however, she seemed indifferent to the fact and continued living on with the guide of Irving. The pair, in the end, managed to seal a place of service to the GREAT AQUARIUS as cooks. Life would, at least in her eyes, continue as "usual".
Weapons: The only real weapon Isa keeps with her is a small dagger of sorts, mostly for her role of kitchen helper however. Magic: While seemingly possessing no real magical potential or at least not showing any signs that would denote to any practice of such, the alien like lifeform stuck on her is a basis for much potential. While she herself has not fully realized what the being can do, it has proven to be an asset in underwater tasks or those related to the sea itself. The form can, consistently yet not too fast, change shape and usage. The only thing Isa is aware of is a capability to stay underwater for a seemingly indefinite amount of time. She herself does not know why, but the form does something to allow her to breathe underwater. The most obvious change is that if she wills it, the whole form moves to cover her entire body in fine-like scales of seemingly iron or steel of unknown depth and density. Something else changes too, either within herself temporarily, or the being somehow manages to assimilate breathable air. It is capable of feats a typical human would only hope to ever accomplish, but so far she has not been able to explore much of its capability. One more minor case of some spectacle and wonder is her occasional attempts to sing when alone. Perhaps the only thing that could be attributed to magic or perhaps some physical difference. There are times when she, at her own leisure and perhaps solitude, attempts to sing. Her voice would normally not accommodate such, but there have been cases of people hearing an alluring and soft voice singing in the night like a Siren. No one has ever directly heard and seen her sing, as she keeps it as one of her more personal secrets. Other:: A woman of shorter stature, 160cm (5'3"), complimented by rather pale skin and a withered silvery tone of hair. There are occasional marks of either bruises or signs of abuse, and some heavy bags around and under her eyes. One more particularly interesting thing of note is a tattoo/mark on her back. Seems to also prefer to be called Isa, instead of her full name for unknown reasons. A theme of sorts, and perhaps ironically also the lyrics I wish she'd be able to utter out if singing.
