 The tension between the recon and Ice was hard to brook, yet Alice didn't know what to say to make things better. Really, she had been silently beating herself up over it. [Color=red][i]'Did I do something wrong? Was it something I said?'[/i][/color] She thought to herself as she helped her friend out with breakfast. Before she could speak up, however, Zachary had entered the room.

 Wait what-

 [Color=red]"Either I'm losing my mind, or you somehow survived a robot poking your eye out. I'll just go with the latter. Glad to see you're still here with us!"[/color] Alice said to Zach, a smirk on her face. The archer then asked her and Ice about if they ate pancakes with...peanut butter?

 [Color=red]"Um, not really? I mean, I've tried pancakes with chocolate chips before, but not peanut butter."[/color] The recon shrugged as the blood donor checked on the archer's injury, saying that Zach should have his temperature check by "the Quack". The quack? Oh, he meant Mercy. Alice did once call the plague doctor a duck on accident, so it was a bit obvious for her.
 
 The recon nodded in reply when Ice asked if she wanted some pancakes too, and with a bit of searching, set a small canister of peanut butter next to Zach's plate.

 [Color=red]"Look, I can't help that I worry for those I care for constantly, it's a force of habit, I can admit. But seeing you break down crying last night? I just...didn't like seeing you like that. If anything, I want you to be happy. Ya know?"[/color] Alice explained to Ice, a worrysome frown on her face.

 It was then that Mercy entered the dining room, suprisingly without her mask. [Color=lightyellow]"Hallo Leute!"[/color] She waved hello to Alice and Ice, grabbing a cup of coffee before leaning up against the doorway, almost choking on her drink when she saw Zachary. [Color=lightyellow]"Holy shit, I was told you were dead!"[/color] The plague doctor nearly yelled, taking her turn to check on Zach's injury. 

 [Color=red]"So, duck- I MEAN DOC!"[/color] Alice facepalmed, cursing under her breath, then looked back up at Mercy. [Color=red]"How was the support team?"[/color]

 [Color=lightyellow]"Remember the Saw movies?"[/color] The plague doctor asked back. [Color=lightyellow]"Well, we basically went through the same thing, but with an AI."[/color]

 [Color=red]"Oh damn..."[/color]

 [Color=lightyellow]"Yeah, glad it didnt last long though."[/color] Mercy chuckled, a crooked smile on her face. [Color=lightyellow]"But, are [i]you[/i] okay? Ya look kinda tired."[/color]

 [Color=red]"Erm..."[/color]

 [Color=lightyellow]"Alice, have you not been getting enough sleep?"[/color] Mercy asked the recon, rather sternly.

 [Color=red]"Doc, you know I get night terrors too!"[/color] Alice exclaimed. [Color=red]"But...yeah, I wasn't able to sleep at all after yesterday."[/color] She quickly admitted.

 Mercy sighed and shook her head. [Color=lightyellow]"After breakfast, go back to bed, okay?"[/color] the plague doctor looked back at Zachary. [Color=lightyellow]"That goes for you too. You need to rest."[/color]

 [Color=red]"Doc, I'm fine, really-"[/color]

 [Color=lightyellow]"Ich will nur nicht, dass du ein Insomniac bist. Hör zu, du musst jetzt nicht wieder ins Bett gehen, nur versuchen, etwas Ruhe zu bekommen. Okay?"[/color] Mercy asked Alice.

 [Color=red]"...Okay, es tut mir leid."[/color] The recon apologized.

 [Color=lightyellow]"Seien Sie nicht."[/color] The plague doctor reasured Alice, puting a hand on her shoulder. [Color=lightyellow]"Also, über dich und Eis... Magst du ihn?"[/color] Mercy asked, her only reply being a light punch to the arm. The plague doctor only laughed at Alice's reaction, the recon giving her a bit of a death glare, before Mercy walked back to the dining room and sat down at a table.
