Her strong case of "resting bitch face" gives her a somewhat unfriendly air though she doesn't mind that it puts people off. Dark, thick locks of hair cascade down her back and curls around her youthful face. Her skin is the color of peanut butter, and speckling her nose are freckles that are a darker brown than her skin. She'll usually cover these freckles, as well as any other blemishes, with a thin layer of concealer and foundation. She has a prominent nose and full lips that always look poised to speak something important. But her most compelling feature is her piercing brown eyes that can change from affection to aversion without notice. Zanelle stands at five feet and seven inches tall, and weighs in at around one hundred-sixty five pounds. She is also very toned and athletic, thanks to spending a good portion of her time in the gym. When it comes to her fashion sense, Zanelle surprisingly likes to keep it simple. When out and about, you'll usually see her wearing pants or jeans, a plain T-shirt, and a pair of sneakers or heels. When it's cold, she'll switch the T-shirt out for a solid colored sweater or wear a black, leather jacket over top of it. As far as jewelry goes, however, Z is always iced out. With her flashy necklaces, rings, and bracelets, she can make the most basic and minimalist outfits look like they belong in a fashion editorial. While she can't entirely deny any of those, Zanelle considers the core aspect of her personality to be determination. Her intelligence is mostly based on her determination to do well. All through grade school, Zanelle studied her ass off in order to make it where she is now. A textbook extrovert, Zanelle loves to chat with people (unless she's having a bad day, in which case she still loves to talk, but will lean towards negativity and passive-aggression) and tends to be genuinely friendly. She does not shy away from talking to strangers, but tends to turn a few people off with her tendency to express her thoughts unconsciously and without restraint. She is very observant, and tends to notice things about her surroundings that others may not. She is also individualistic and confident in herself and her actions. Aside from being very friendly, Zanelle is a perfectionist who has high standards for herself, and has a tendency to correct people and nitpick. More often than not, she is very nosy and, when in a bad mood, will sometimes come off as conceited and cocky. Despite all of her shortcomings, there's no denying that Zanelle is extremely dependable. If you ask her to meet you somewhere, she will be there; if she promises to do something, she will do it; if you ask her for help, she will do everything in her power to assist. Underneath the frustrated sighs and eye-rolls lies a person who's kind and caring at the core.
Aspiration:
Zanelle wants to become the hottest new actress, and is committed to doing whatever it takes to achieve this goal. She strives to reach the ranks of some of her favorite stars such as Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Angela Bassett, and more.
Bio:
"I was born on a Summers day in Pittsburgh. Both of my parents were eighteen when they conceived me, and no one on my mom's side of the family was really surprised when my father took off when he found out that she was pregnant. When I was three years old, my mom's family packed up and moved to Brooklyn. There, I lived in an apartment with my mom, her parents, and my aunt. My grandparents are Jamaican immigrants, so I'm pretty close to my roots. Everyone in the house worked during the day, so before I started school, I spent most of the time with my neighbors next door. I was glad when I started school, though. I didn't like that strong tobacco smell that lingered in their apartment. School was easy for me. I breezed through elementary school with a sixth grade reading level, and was at an eleventh grade reading level before I finished middle school. I was on my elementary school's football team until eighth grade since our middle schools don't have a football league. I tried to continue my football career in high school, but the coach didn't believe in letting girls play. Although high school was a lot more challenging than my previous years of school, I put in the work to keep my grades high. I took a bunch of advanced placement classes and somehow managed to participate in a few clubs here and there. I wasn't interested in DECA or Key Club in the slightest, but it was something to put on my college applications. The only thing I did enjoy besides going to football games was theater and drama class. I was actually in a few productions in high school; I got the main role in both The Wiz and Aida. I got into Hampton University on full scholarship, thanks to my grades and long list of extra curriculars, but I only went for two years before I dropped out. Of course, my parents were pissed when they found out, but I didn't really care. School isn't for everyone, and it definitely isn't for me. I knew for a long time that I wanted to be an actress, but I just didn't have the balls to tell my mother that I didn't have an interest in medicine. My family said that if I wasn't going to be in school, then I wouldn't be able to live with them anymore, so I bought the cheapest airplane ticket I could find, packed my things, and flew to the other side of the country. Now I have my own place, thanks to the money I saved up, and the money that I'm making waiting tables will keep me afloat. I go to cast calls nearly every day, hoping that one of them will lead me to my big screen debut."
Theme song:
[sub]Watch out, world, I'm grown now It's about to go down My heart beat is so loud Mama, look, I'm grown now[/sub]
Face claim:
Zendaya Coleman
Dialogue color: #C6828F
