Diamond Greene hated school more than anything, and was ecstatic when she finally was able to walk across the stage and receive her high school diploma. She had done the bare minimum; she put in just enough work to pass all of her classes with a D average and graduate on time. As she moved her tassel to the left side of her cap, the only thought that ran through her mind was that she'd never have to go through this again. College was definitely off the table, thanks to her terrible grades and lack of extra curricular activities. In fact, like half of all high school graduates, Diamond was planning to go straight into the workforce. She was going to find a decent paying job, move out of her mother's home, and live her life on her own terms. None of these things actually came to fruition. While she had moved out of her mother's house, it was only because of the person she had recently become. She couldn't even keep the job that she'd secured a few months ago due to her new identity and "family." And as for finally getting the chance to live life on her own terms, she may as well erase that idea from her mind completely. Now, the young woman entered through the front doors of Bloodmoon Castle, her arms folded across her chest and her eyes narrowed. She kept the same, cold expression even when the oddly cheerful older woman handed her a class schedule and dorm room information. "Head down the hall and to the right..." was the last thing that Diamond heard before she turned on her heel and followed the rest of the crowd to the main assembly room. She couldn't help but stare curiously at some of her fellow classmates as they filed into the room and took their seats; while she was used to being in a large crowd, she wasn't used to being surrounded by werewolves and vampires, especially. Diamond sucked in a breath when her eyes found those of what appeared to be some sort of wolf hybrid, and another when she spotted the girl who sat behind it. As she made her way to a seat near the middle of the room, she made a mental note to introduce herself later on. Diamond sat through the brief speech, impatiently tapping her foot on the floor. When everything had finally wrapped up, she exited the assembly room as quickly as she could and made a beeline towards her dorm room. "Room 416... Room 416..." the young woman repeated to herself as she walked down the corridor. After finally finding her dorm and pushing the door open, she was relieved to find that she was first to arrive. She let out a deep sigh as she tossed her duffel bag onto one of the empty beds and soon plopped down right next to it. With her eyes closed, Diamond patiently waited for her roommate to arrive. She was slightly interested to see who she would be bunking with for the time being.
