It's savagely curved head and spear point that graced it's other head left little doubt as to it's purpose as a weapon if war. She judge the distance to the locked door blocking the tunnel and swung, severing the hasp of the lock and leaving the cut edges glowing with heat. Even restrained the weapon had scored the concrete even in places that should have been out of reach. As she entered the hallway she dropped Apollyon and it vanished in a similar flash of darkness before reaching the floor. Sonya pushed through the formerly locked gate and into the room beyond. She looked around the dimly lit space. Back home the gate would have long since been broken down, anything useful stolen and, more likely than not, the would have been someone living inside. But here it was clean and dry. After a moment of looking around She retreated back out into the sunlight, quietly closing the gate. It was a while before the Hex Night and she was hungry anyway. There would be time to explore later but now she should prepare in other ways. The foreign girl climbed back up to street level and walked around to search for a convenience store.
