The guard stared at the woman in front of her, eventually only responding with a quick nod of her forehead.  From her perspective, it was obvious the woman was quiet although it was a bit hard to tell why.  As a result of that, she simply stood there awkwardly.  How was she supposed to address the noble?  She was a guest of the estate, and it wasn't like she could tell the woman to buzz off.  The guard looked away, only glancing towards the noble periodically.

[b]"Your ladyship ... are you ... um ... lost?"[/b]  The woman seemed a little upset to even think of that as an idea, as if she was a bit concerned it could get her in trouble somehow.
