When Aedre asked about the rest of the clutch, for a moment Sophia was silent. She bit her lip, hands clenching as she recalled the sight of the tiny forms lying motionless in the nest, not even a spark of life force to be found in any of them. [color=orchid]"They..."[/color] She gave a little shake of her head. [color=orchid]"They didn't make it either."[/color]

Her gaze drifted to the one surviving Jangmo-o, shuffling along with the group of Pokemon at his side, with no choice but to leave behind the home and life he'd known. The trainer watched Lacey place a hand on the dragon's back. Everyone had done all they could to help, and yet it hadn't been enough for this Pokemon's mother or siblings. She really should be stronger than this, Sophia inwardly chided herself. Much stronger, not just for her own sake, but to be of more use in these situations.

With heavy, trudging footsteps, she followed Rachel as light started to stream into the cave from outside, indicating safety.
