[indent]Suave, sensual, and gorgeous, Lorenzo Horton is a well known figure in the city of Salem. Notorious for chasing skirts and currently the most eligible bachelor, he has taken Salem by storm. Of course, his pretty face isn't all there is to him--his cheerfulness is infectious, his overall good spirit and moral standings not usually found in men of his age. While it's debatable whether or not his optimism is purposely defiant to the ever growing pessimism of the world, his ingenuity helps him win hearts all over. Which is great for him, as he always enjoys the company of a beautiful woman, and women love hot guys with great personalities.

His fame precedes him; numerous interviews have revealed Lorenzo as a man who takes things in stride. He certainly loves parties, whether it be throwing them or attending, and there isn't a dance he can't learn. He certainly comes off as an air-headed pretty boy, and lets people see him as such. Still, he hasn't spent all his time at the gym; he graduated top of his class with a degree in mechanical engineering, with several jobs lined up for him. Pulling one over on him is also exceedingly difficult, as he has an unnaturally precise bullshit detector (as he so fondly calls it) and can read people quite easily. His perception to people's issues tends to throw them off guard as well as his willingness to help just about anyone. 

At his core he is a kind hearted man who won't hesitate to give the coat off his back to a complete stranger and never expects anyone to do the same for him. His patience is seemingly infinite, as no one to this day has ever seen him actually angry. Upset, sure, but as they say, the devil runs when a gentleman goes to war.[/indent]

[indent]The eldest son of the Horton family, who had come to Tom and Alice after many, many fertility tests and hardships. He was a blessing to the trying couple, showered with affection, though once he was born, Alice pumped out several siblings for him to enjoy. Still, as the oldest he had higher expectations, and so strove to be a proper role model to his siblings. And by proper he understood it as constantly reminding them who was boss by wrestling them all (sometimes all at the same time) and being fiercely (and over-) protective of them all. From a young age he was inclined towards sports, always active, always having to do [i]something[/i]. Despite being a jock, however, his grades were top notch--as expected of him--and he passed everything with flying colors, juggling sports and grades.

When it came time for his career, he decided he would rather work with his hands than have to die of boredom doing paperwork. Of course, his father disagreed, stating that Lorenzo's brilliant mind shouldn't have to go to waste. So he decided to become a psychologist to appease his father. This was very quickly abandoned as he found an interest in mechanical engineering, and lucky for him, his father approved. Of course, Lorenzo was expected to get a reasonable job once he graduated, but his devlishly handsome looks got him a lot of attention. A lot of attention. Like, so much attention he got snatched up by a modeling agency attention. For a while, he was able to hide it well, but once his face was plastered on billboards, it was a little harder to hide. Fortunately for him, his father deemed him a success, and everything has been fine.

[indent]Grant is very composed and intelligent, albeit quiet. He enjoys silence and a few recreational activities ranging from sketching to jiu jutsu in his spare time. Very little tends to faze him, only offering a sarcastic quip before going back to whatever it is that he was doing. Rarely does he lose his temper, though he has a somewhat odd sense of humor. He likes to think of himself a deep and creative thinker, though his family knows that he's just an overgrown hipster. 

Underneath his layers is a deeply troubled individual. He feels compelled to keep things under his control despite being very well aware that things tend to happen at any given moment. He is often at war with himself. He has trouble dealing with his own emotions and prefers to keep a distance from them and people. He finds it difficult to commit to any one thing, always relegating himself to follow his parents' wishes instead of thinking for himself. Right now he is in a state of self discovery, so to speak, so we will see how his personality folds out.[/indent]

[indent]The second eldest child of the Horton family, since he was young Grant has always been known as the emotional momma's boy. Scared of meeting new people and always hiding in his brother's shadow, he was a moody kid that grew into a moody, emo teenager. However, his teen years were where he discovered his inner artist, and he found massive enjoyment in the arts. Of course, it never went past a hobby, and between his general emo-ness and keeping his grades up, he never pursued it.

Instead, he decided to go into law. Why? He had a great memory and a guaranteed job. Did he like it? Sort of. He found it amazing how cut-throat people were in court, how people twisted the truth to their advantage, and he found the entire experience a delightful irony and a great study. He figured he probably would have done better as a psychologist, but that thought came to him about an hour before graduation, so it was much too late for that.

He likes to think he gets along well with his family, though he is usually the center of the jokes. And by usually it's like...nine times out of ten.[/indent]
