There were some that, even with gas and a key, she wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. Some looked ok, but no key to be found. There wasn't a lot of options, but the fact there were a few cars here led her to believe that people sought the church as a safe haven. If only for a bit. She debated in her head about her own beliefs. She wasn't super religious growing up. It was hard to think there was a god that would allow something like this to happen to the world. Then again, many people who believed said the end times were coming. She was momentarily distracted as Jack called over to her. He didn't have much luck either, which was a shame. She hoped, even for a bit, that they would be lucky. She was about to call over when her eyes caught something. A tiny speck she wouldn't have noticed as she passed by another car. A small hatchback car, with a super expired license place, but it was the small dent in the plate that caught her attention. And in that small gap was a key. "Jack! I found a key!" She could jump for joy, but the nearby Walkers were already somewhat alerted to them. No need to make it worse. She took the key and waited for Jack to come back so they could test the car. Hopefully, it worked.
