Once that was clear, he turned back to flute guy who was signing at him. While trying to decipher what he was saying, Gabriel reached back to his quiver to see that his arrows were numbered. That certainly wasn't good, they needed to go. He faintly understood that Ren thought someone was behind this as well, since these were the undead and that they couldn't just wake up without any magical help. What their goal was was beyond him, and he wasn't going to stay long enough for him to find out. Before he could turn tail, his attention was redirected to the forest golem from earlier. The mysterious woman had already dashed towards the golem to help it, and Ren told him to cover them. Gabriel saw that the forest golem was rooted. That... didn't bode well for them. But it didn't seem the others would move until this giant did. He mentally began counting as he took out another arrow and took aim. He pulled it back to reach its maximum draw and released once again, going through one brittle skull and into another. As he released arrow after arrow, he was slowly walking towards the direction of the Western Gate which the flute dude was paving a way through. How excellent. At the last moment when Ren stopped as the path was clear for the meantime, he couldn't grab any more arrows. Frantically looking around, Gabriel saw a dead guard with a quiver full of unused arrows. Must have die early. He quickly ran to it and took the quiver, replacing the one he had with it - there was no difference in quality anyway. He then ran back to Jack. The Gate was in sight, one more run and they could finally leave. He watched as the church was being demolished by the boar monster. Gabriel couldn't help but wonder. Why? Releasing another arrow from his new ammunition, he waited for the others to make their move but he was still moving slowly towards the gate. [/color]
