Name: James J. Winters Age: 21 Gender: Male Appearance: Standing at 5'6" and with a weight of 234 pnds, he has almond-shaped blue eyes. James would look like any other person on the street were it not for his prosthetics and a noticeable limp in his standard gait. He appears to be of Japanese-American descent, and takes little care of his appearance beyond the mere basics. Most of the time, his black hair is cut short, and he wears long baggy pants to cover his legs, the best way for him to avoid the questioning, prying eyes of strangers when he is out in public. Always dressing casual in his outings, you would be hard-pressed to get him to do much else. Personality: A different individual prior to his accident, the young man had been forced to be sheltered due to his new condition in life. Cabin fever and the realization of what had happened made him a significantly more frustrating person to be around, and his impatience for the people around him is quite evident. Background: James was on a roll in his life. A well-paying occupation, excellent car, and a wonderful girlfriend who was supportive of his choices. He lost it all in a near-fatal head-on collision with a drunk driver, the accident took away his legs, his love, and ultimately, his job. Cheap prosthetics was all his insurance money could afford on short notice, allowing him to walk and maybe have a quick jog if he was careful. He remains in the care of his parents, who try to get his mind off of his situation with VR, to relative success. That was over five months ago. Ingame Name: Calcifer0451 Ingame Appearance: Calcifer0451's character has shoulder-length, black hair that is accessorized with a silver headband, along with amber-colored eyes. A plain featureless porcelain facemask obscures his character's face. He has pale-white skin, an average gray short-sleeve shirt, black shorts, and black laced boots fit for long travel. Hanging off of his shoulders is a dark brown hoodless cloak that goes down to his pants, which is decorated in various sigils representing the mythical gods in the fickle lore of World's End Online. Ingame Personality: Acting kind and patient in-game, the handle of Calcifer0451 is a wondrous escape from the pallid and droll truth of James' life. He can feel control over everything he lost in his life, and remain useful to the people around him due to his experience in World's End Online. In this MMO he isn't James the crippled, insecure young man, he is Calcifer0451, a clever and supportive individual to his peers. Not to mention, a daring user so as to focus only on Novice, the starting class. Class: Novice Notable Skills:

Minor Healing (A Novice is able to heal superficial wounds on their body with an easy-to-use and accessible spell. You'd have to use this ability multiple times during/after combat to heal anything overly lethal.)
Play Dead (A Novice has impressive control over their heart rate and breathing which allows them to play dead, lying completely motionless on the ground or other surface. This nifty trick will fool most enemies other than an Undead enemy, a B-Class opponent, or Insect Type enemies.)
Warrior's Feint (After an opponent's attention is lost with the use of Play Dead, using Calcifer0451's knowledge and experience in taking advantage of the opponent's lack of awareness, they can root an opponent in place regardless of their status effects or movement. If there are a dozen basic trash mobs with low health, rooting all of them in place with his bow is possible.)
Equipment:

A black-colored longsword with a standard leather hilt and counterbalance. It is of average quality, and appears to be nothing special. Nicks on the blade diminish its value in the eyes of fellow players, but it is deceptively sharp.
A shortbow made of a dark lustrous oak, of simple craft and make. Just as his sword, there isn't anything unique about this item. Due to its particular design and the ease of availability to new players to the game, it doesn't do anywhere near as much damage as an Archer's longbow or a player specialized in playing with one, and you can never use specialized arrows with it. To Cal, it remains a healthy and useful tool for both distraction and surprise attacks.
Other: Calcifer0451 can be considered the rare scholar in World's End Online, interested in all the details of the setting he could scrounge up. He used to be an experienced dungeon crawler with a Rogue before he ended up deleting it in favor for the current one. No known reason why, he is not a figure of influence in the community to garner debate.
