Howdy! I'd like to apply to join this thread, if that's quite alright. I had a few questions, though.

How often do you want folks to post?
Does every character need to be held in high regard? I understand most should be as they're embarking on this quest to save a princess, but might a famous criminal be brought along should they have the right skillset? Etc.
What sort of magic is in the setting?
Can our characters be something more or less than human? (Someone with odd/alien ancestry, or who was stolen by strange creatures as a child, such as Fey or what have you.)
At present, I'm considering an illusionist of sorts, a trickster mage. He'd have dwarfism (or a strange ancestry), and he'd either be the court mage or the court jester, though he might also be a friend of someone in the court (the Duke's?) that isn't an actual part of the court. His magical powers and skill set would be focused on deception and less-than-direct methodology. Other than that, if you allowed 'less than human' types, I'd be mighty tempted to toy with some sort of 'Beast of Brittony' concept - someone born or cursed with a more monstrous appearance, someone that could fit the strongman sort of role.
