I won't deny that having a smooth-tongued acquaintance would help the Unbroken, but Cerys's birth tribe was destroyed by Drathan slavers looking for able bodies. If they met, she would likely free Mahaad's slaves by force at the very least.

Needless to say, any alliance we formed would not be an easy one, but that sort of tension does make for excellent storytelling.
