Long black hair extends down to the middle of her back, with dark purple streaks accentuating her face. She has bright blue eyes that are always made up and the rest of her face is never without a shred of makeup. DJ stands at an average 5'6 and has a womanly, yet toned figure. She usually wears clothing that shows off said figure and has very little insecurity about her body. Her nose is pierced and she normally just keeps a small diamond stud.

Delaney is only out for one person: herself. She doesn't care who she takes down in her path, or who's feelings she might hurt along the way. If somebody has something she wants, she doesn't ask for permission, nor forgiveness after taking said item. However, under that tough exterior is a complete vulnerability. She does not trust anyone and takes nobody at their word. That part of herself is never allowed to show itself, so she is always on the attack, ready to strike first. Her hair and makeup must always be done, and she never allows anyone to see her being emotional.

DJ can bring up nearly every illusion that she can think of, making every minute detail nearly perfect. These illusions are able to make the brain process them as real. For instance, if she pulls up the illusion of a brick wall, somebody could run into said wall and feel pain, just because their brain processes the illusion as fact.

If Delaney knows where an object is and can visualize said object, she can steal it with a snap of her fingers. She is able to steal things from several feet in front of her, however she must be in the general vicinity. 

She is also able to mute sound for a brief amount of time.

She does not have control over her invisibility. This ability only shows up in times of extreme stress, such as if she were frightened or surprised.

Her toxin production is very limited and at the moment can only produce a chemical burn, or boils.

Shadow stepping is limited as well, as she is only able to go where she has a clear destination. When she arrives, she usually always stumbles or falls over.

Born the single child to a wealthy entrepreneur and a socialite wife, Delaney had everything she could ever ask for. She had everything that money could buy, and servants at her every beck and call. Her nanny, Marjorie, was the greatest mother figure she could ever ask for. While her father was continuously away on business trips and her mother throwing exquisite parties, Marjorie was Delaney's only true parent. Life was perfect for the little girl.

Until, at the age of 6, she made the worst mistake of her young life. She called Marjorie 'momma' in front of her very own mother. The very next day Marjorie was gone. Delaney's mother did not want the situation to happen again. From that day on, the young girl was left to her own devices. She had a tutor for her studies, yet was allowed to have free run of the house. Her mother didn't want to parent, but didn't want anyone else to take that position, either.

When Delaney turned 10, it was discovered that she had an extraordinary ability that she had inherited from her grandfather. When word of her ability reached her father, he hurried home. He located a powerful Trickster and hired the man to be his daughter's trainer. Her secondaries were ignored as they weren't seen as useful to her primary power. However, she saw the potential in her other abilities and began to train herself on the side. Training and private school were the only focus of her everyday life until she was shoved out the door. Delaney did not know where she was going until they arrived at Marchand High, where her new life was to begin.
