[@CloseEnough] So the only problems I see is the fact that she should already be able to walk. Once turned her entire body would have healed by the next night. She would also be blood hungry as well, so her parents would be at serious risk of her attacking them from being so thirsty. 

Once you change those two things you are good to go!
