Unfortunately, Raven didn't get a clear shot to make his move. A few of the other Digidestined started showing up with their partners and immediately went on the attack. Well, so much for trying to do this the quick and efficient way. Raven analyzed the situation as it unfolded, and when he spotted the Digivice in the girl's hand... that's when he knew they weren't up an against ordinary opponent. She's... one us? That didn't make much sense. Were there other Digidestined besides the ones he already knew? It was looking that way. By now one of the others, Kudamon, had instructed him to get to safety. And even Yukarumon finally managed to Digivolve, but so far no one paid much mind to the Phantom Thief otherwise. It looked like Raven's identity was unknown to them. Funny, he thought for sure that the former friends who had known him for the past century would still recognize him in spite of the mask. Or maybe that was just an effect of the mask itself? Raven didn't respond directly. He did, however, duck behind the roof entrance. He needed a moment to think, and a place where he could watch for an opportunity to strike. Falcomon had caught up by know, having flown in to join the fight. Before he made a move, however, he landed nearby to Raven's hiding spot, "Falcmon," Raven whispered, "that girl... I think she's one of us. I know one way to stop her, but I'll need an opening." Falcomon didn't need to respond. He had a pretty good idea what Raven had in mind. When one fought side by side for as long as they had, then there tended to be a certain level of synchronization with their way of thinking. Falcomon flapped his wings and properly joined the fight. "Shadow Screen!" at this, Falcomon appeared to split up into multiple copies of himself. However only one of them was real, the rest were all made of harmless digital data. It was one of Falcomon's signature digital ninjutsu tactics. A good way to get attention was to suddenly look like a small army going on the attack. And that was exactly what the bird digimon did. It didn't matter what level the girl's partner was. Digivolved or not, Falcomon would do everything in his power to help Raven pull off his plan. Meanwhile, whether anyone noticed or not, something rolled across the floor of the roof. A white orb that slowed to a stop just before the girl's feet. Suddenly it exploded into a cloud of smoke. That was when Raven made his move. He darted forward, sliding across the floor of the roof and right past the girl. The digimon was never his target. Like any thief, Raven's target was the treasure. Or, more accurately, the girl's Digivice. Even a Digidestined couldn't do much if separated from their Digivice, so if Raven could just swipe the girl's, then this little battle could be over before it even truly started.
