[color=pink]His family and lineage are the equivalent of human hippies. They promote peace, prosperity and harmony with nature, using their terramancing skills to protect creatures in need, govern large forests and vegetation. Vanya too has these beliefs, but a more laid back approach to it. Is a bit embarrassed about his parents’ eccentric behaviour. 

His family is generally against government institutions, believing that raising the young ones is a family’s greatest honour. But after the war, they wanted to partake in the social unity and caution showed by establishing the Marchand, and eventually they convinced Vanya to reluctantly attend the school. He is very lacking in knowledge about magic other than terramancy. [/color]
