[@ShwiggityShwah] So NOAH, our shipborne A.I will be an NPC, simply as it's hard for a player to fill that role of being accessible to every single player, and not leave them hanging. Someone has expressed interest at some form of secondary a.i but for that there needs to be a reason for its existence.
