Name: Kobayashi Suzume

Age: 35 (seems 17)

Personality: Suzume finds herself to be the serious type. She wants to be someone who can just let loose and speak her mind but she always ends up being the responsible one. She has an unshakeable resolve for justice and the way that life 'should' be. Living by the "protect those that need protection" mantra it reflects in her actions.  

Backstory:  Her time during life wasn't all that important or exciting. She died at 10 years old without any real special power awakening in her before that. She was met with a Shinigami in a timely manner before any real chance of her becoming a hollow. She didn't even see her  first hollow till the Shinigami academy. However there was one thing that was difficult for her that marked her as slightly different than the other students in her grade. The zanpakuto she held rejected her. It didn't want to conform with a shikai. This was strange to her and to others as well. She did well in the academy regardless of this.  

Two years ago after she had graduated she suddenly felt a breakthrough with her powers and managed to unlock her shikai and it was a permanent release no less. And it only worked as a conduit with her kido. Her goal had been to join the kido corpse or to help reinstate it depending on how it works in this world. 

Since then she has worked to develop her powers more and more around the barrier abilities she possesses. 

Strengths/ Weaknesses: She possess literally zero talent in zanjutsu. She can't wield a sword to saver her life (littearlly) and falls back on her kido and special abilities. Her main special ability is the creation of a specialized and unique type of shielding and barrier system

Shikai Appearance: Her golden earring. 

Shikai Ability: Gives her the ability to project a shield in various forms.

Techniques: 
Personal barrier-This technique is up at all times on her. It only activates against attacks or when she wills it. Its one of the weaker barriers she knows but it simply lays over the skin like an armor. She can grant this temporarily to other people.  

Wall Barrier- She creates a wall or other similar structure that is stronger but more rigid than  the  barriers she can give to people. 

Area Barrier- This creates a powerful barrier around area to keep it safe from harm.
