Tiffany couldn't quite believe it herself, but she found a key. She unlocked the car door and sat down in the front seat. She put her faith in this tiny object. If the car worked, they had reasonable transportation to get to the bug out place where the others might be. They could also arguably sleep in the car and be somewhat protected from Walker attacks.

She inserted the key and waited a second. She gave it a turn and the car started revving up. She thought it would stall or not even bother, but she heard it turning and after a brief few seconds, it turned on. It fricken turned on! She almost gasped in shock. She looked over to Jack.
