Al For a stretch of time it seemed rather endless. Left, right, back and forward, they came at him from all directions, all thrashing at him with bent poles and such. Their attacks were so minor he hardly needed to consciously defend against any of them. Their damage did not bypass the strength of his divine protection and barely took away enough to wear his force down faster than he could recover it. As it was he could keep up this sort of fight for hours. If it wasn't for his unmitigated anger at the harm they've caused he'd of been lackadaisically dispatching them by this point. As the group immediately on him started to thin out he turned to see something strange slip-n-sliding up at him. Raising his arms to block the statue the tall humanoid clad in blue tossed her victim into another guy on him before taking the last statue guy out with a large ice gauntlet. It was at that point that the tall blue looking lady in the hood babbled something in Japanese at him excitedly. "... What?" He asked confusedly, a single eyebrow of bewilderedness raised on his uncertain expression. "Those of you can that fight and aren't occupied with ensuring the safety of innocents, rally by me!" Some distant dude in armor yelled. "What?" He yelled back, not having heard his whole spiel the first time around due to some distractions, chiefest of which was the tall ice wielder in front of him. "Pardon the interruption, but this seems the best place to plant a choke point. Wouldn't you agree?" Al looked to the winged armor man who just went ahead and speared yet another statue. He then looked around at what few surroundings he could still see through the haze of smoke and blue mist. "Uh, we're in the middle of an arena. What part of this resembles a choke point?" He asked what he presumed was a good question seeing as how there was little way to physically bar the intruders from, say, going around them and attacking the others. "I don't know jack about choke points so whatever, I guess." He relented, deciding it wasn't worth his time to argue other what dumb stuff the others were yakking on about. He instead turned his focus forward where distantly he could see the next wave of living statues now armed with their makeshift cudgels marching towards them. Eyes steeled upon his foes he readied himself for the battle ahead.
