Pumpkins are a large ground fruit growing in the garden in Lei's citadel. They have the curious ability to absorb surrounding magic and discharge it slowly over time, like some kind of fae capacitor. Their maximum charge scales somewhat with size, but can be increased tenfold if you carve a face into them, in which case they will start to glow.

By 'large ground fruit', I mean 'you can carve a house in them'.
