He seemed like a nice fellow — although a little aloof — and Alice thought that he seemed like a nice enough fellow that he wouldn’t have anything to do with her predicament. There was just one thing... Alice may have been accepted to Hope’s Peak on the basis of murder, but she wasn’t some low life scum that would let Taka get away with ignoring her handshake. Common courtesies were the foundation of a new budding relationship and the handshake was the very epitome of meeting a new person. Between it’s casual intimacy and deceivingly simple design, the handshake was the ultimatum of meeting a new person. Alice was slowly accumulating rage at this essential desecration of something that she valued so much… but much to Taka’s benefit and Alice’s dismay, she was interrupted by Monokuma. ”...I will see you all bear-y soon!” As the high pitched roar of Monukuma’s introductions came to an end, Alice immediately decided to head back to the ampitheatre. She was just a little irked that having just made her way to the Gate, she now had to turn all the way around and return. Huh… for some reason Alice felt like she was forgetting something. But she immediately turned on her heel in the opposite direction of the gate. She looked back at Taka, ignoring his request to go to the gate. Her gaze rested on Taka’s own ”It’s not just me, everyone has gotta be curious why they’re here. You don’t know why you're here, you would’ve said something if you did! So we’ve gotta check out the theatre, c’mon! “ Alice said, more as a statement than a question of whether Taka would follow her — and started heading back towards the amphitheatre under the assumption that Taka would follow.
