(See History Since Outbreak below) History Before Outbreak: Conrad grew up in a typical family in Charleston with his parents and younger brother. He had friends, did decently in high school, and otherwise had an ordinary childhood. Once he graduated from high school, he followed his father’s footsteps and became a member of the Charleston police. Conrad liked working for the force and planned on continuing to do so until he retired. Sadly, this would not last. History Since Outbreak: Conrad was on the clock when the Outbreak began. At first, the police tried to contain the outbreak and protect the people, but even they eventually realized that it was a lost cause. This was driven home to Conrad by the fact that he had to shoot his own infected father to prevent him from becoming a zombie. After the police force was defeated, Conrad tried going home to save his mother and brother, but he was too late; they had already become zombies. With tears in his eyes, Conrad had to run them over with his police Ford Explorer in order to escape. After escaping reasonably enough, Conrad was in despair. He figuratively murdered his own family and had lost everything he had ever cared about. The man was about to shoot himself, but suddenly he had a vision; it was a higher power telling him that there was hope. It was the voice of God, explaining that there were better times ahead, but only if he killed as many zombies as possible. With his new holy mission, Conrad had a new sense of purpose. He wasn’t just surviving for himself; he was on a mission from god. Sure, some people said he was crazy, but he ignored them. Despite what the sceptics would say, the man knew that if he did his job well enough, he would be divinely rewarded. Grouping preference: Group 1[/hider]
