Relax, also felt like that, just come along. My char is technically the lone guy out, if you look back. Fight a bit in the forest, get your first rabbit and if you gotta do things alone, you can. My char is likely to split away from Zats and Gina often enough for us to get a chance to meet (just not now, because I want to kill skeletons, for the XP.)
