Almost immediately the cries for help were silenced, leaving the sewers devoid of noise save for the breathing of those involved and the sound of running mush around them.

The rock slid off the dark, round surface of the mysterious creature before two beady eyes flicked open. Instead, all the monster did was stare with an unblinking gaze right back at the group; specifically, at Lotte. She threw the rock after all.
